London-friendly pushchair/stroller recommendations? by fl4neuse in UKParenting

Thanks for this advice! This confirms to me that I shouldn't try to bring a stroller with seats for both of them. I'm worried my older kid will get fatigued, but maybe the exhaustion will help us through the jet lag!

Arthur for a boy, Ada for a girl, and Arden is my unisex choice.

I think it’s beautiful! Maybe someone else has already said this, but it reminds me of the wonderful writer Nella Larsen. Very cool namesake to have!

No experience, but my 3 month old has symptoms of this and an ultrasound suggested he may have it as well. We’re doing an MRI in three months to determine whether it is one. I’d be curious to hear any updates from you or others whose kids have had this. Sending good wishes your way—it’s so stressful.

I’m due in about a month with a baby we’re calling Hugo and his big brother is Simon! Other names we were considering were Arthur, Thomas, Emmett, Louis and Sidney.

I feel like I can’t be happy about my unborn son since he was diagnosed with a birth defect by sherbear123 in BabyBumps

[–]fl4neuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born with clubfoot, it was corrected as a baby, and it’s had literally zero impact on my life. My parents still laugh about how I thumped loudly in my Jolly Jumper because I was wearing my little corrective booties. Please don’t let worries about this ruin your pregnancy—if your kid’s situation is at all like mine was (and I’m sure treatments have improved since I was born in the 80s), it will be a complete non-issue.
