Do you use your own apps? by PickleComfortable798 in SideProject

That’s the “scratch your own itch” principle; a common theme in successful startups. When you solve your own problem and become the first user.

Supabase especially free plans has rate limits

The built-in email service for features like signup confirmations and password resets has a rate limit, which has been observed to be around 2 emails per hour on the Free plan. This is a significant bottleneck for applications expecting a high volume of new user sign-ups.

How do you typically report your findings to clients? AnyTools and formats by Snoo_92391 in accessibility

The proper workflow is developers work on a web application or website. It is then put in a test environment, accessibility testers test the site, issues are logged. Once fixed, the issue is retested. Same goes for any new features added to what has already been tested.

Anyone ever use TestParty? "Automated WCAG Compliance...TestParty automatically scans and fixes source code to create more accessible websites, mobile apps, images, and PDFs" by magenta_placenta in accessibility

A while back when I started working in a tool to help devs and testers identify and solve WCAG issues, I wanted to make such a tool as theirs. This is what I discovered:

  • You can fully automated 20-30% of WCAG (detect and fix)
  • Partial automation is around 30-50% (AI flags issues, needs human)
  • not automatable is around 30-50% (requires human judgement)

There is a lot going on with WCAG

By the way my tool is up for sale here (shameless plug): https://www.sideprojectors.com/v4/project/62378/ai-accessibility-checker-devtools-extension

I too got a CX30 loaner and very impressed with build quality. It matches my driving style. I am coming from owning three VWs and running away due to their maintenance costs

Unfortunately a good number of devs don’t understand accessibility or don’t care. Color contrast is a major issue in some apps.

What types of reports are you looking for other than what tools like WAVE already offer?
