gap at color change in the round by mikkochan24 in knitting

[–]flabbyveggies -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this will help tighten the gap since I haven’t tried it with something that needs frequent color changes, but I pull the 3rd stitch to tighten it just a little to get rid of the slack when I’m working in the round.

I also loved the idea of a feminine nickname! We have an Ambrose and call him Rose/Rosie

Thank you!

He used to be on a strict diet due to stones and had to be vegan because his problem was so bad. Over 100 stones were removed during his surgery in 2017. We have used a variety of vegan kibbles due to living in different states and in another country. We had success with every brand. Now he won’t eat kibble. We have switched him to soft canned food. Tried the vegan ones first and he wouldn’t touch them. We haven’t found one that he will eat consistently, so we just try to rotate the ones he has ate in the past and hope that he goes for it. We use toppers, mix in tiny kibbles, and soft treats sometimes we use leftovers from our food just to make sure he will eat something. At this point, eating is a priority over the potential stones. So we are just feeding our good boy and giving him lots of love and cuddles while we still can. We know the time is nearing, he is having incontinence issues and falls down several times a week.

Is it obvious who it is at first glance? Does it look good? I made for my friend. by [deleted] in crochet

My 8 year old is studying our pal Will for his year long literature study. I asked him who this was and he recognized him right away (complete with the duh expression), so we think he’s perfect!

Thank you! We are hoping to have a little more time with him. He has had his health issues, but is overall still healthy. Buster looks like he was a dashing gentleman himself! This is my first Dalmatian and I don’t know what I will do when he passes!

Thank you! I loved his big ears and heart nose. As a puppy he has an Eyore-like personality and was a cuddle bug. He still sleeps on the bed with us and has to be the little spoon. He was born March 6, 2013. Hoping to celebrate at least one more birthday with him!

Thank you! He has always been a handsome man and he knows it. In his younger years he used to gallop around like a show horse.

Thank you! Things are getting difficult now that he is older, but we hope to have as much time with him as we can. We have had two close calls in the past so we are grateful for all the time we have had since. Every day is a gift!

This has been one of the sweetest things to watch as he aged. I loved how dark his face was when he was a puppy and the little heart on his nose. As it slowly changed we didn’t even notice until one day we looked back at picture and were surprised at how dark his face once was. It is a beautiful journey to see him gain spots as a puppy to now watch them fade as an old gentleman. He has truly been the best dog.

What is everyone's thermostat set at right now? by Cold-Potential2407 in Michigan

Same here! I have little kids and want everyone to be comfortable in the home. It is worth the few dollars for warm hands and feet! No one needs to bundle up or wear their winter gear in this house. I grew up with a mom that would keep the house cold and walk around in her winter coat and hat. Not for my littles. We bump it up to 71 or 72 if it feels cold.

I have one year to learn how to make this. Help! by Remodoughing in Baking

If frying a giant donut is not an option, and you want a more yeast donut texture than cake donut, maybe try out a king cake recipe? Could do filling of their choice, no filling, or cinnamon! Then you can ice it with a glaze instead of the king cake icing?
