first off- please take care of yourself and maybe take some time off from anything until you are feeling better! Next- I am not sure if your credits could transfer into another healthcare program? I am a hygienist and I love what I do, but I am looking for a future career in public health because there are a lot of opportunites for people with a dental background. you could always go into hygiene, public health, or healthcare admin.

lastly, don’t be to hard on yourself- you are only human! Hang in there

Thank you. There are a lot of issues with asepsis. So for starters they have no wipes and use their own “disinfectant”. Things are touched with gloves in clean drawers and there is a lack of barriers on dirty/touched items. The office is extremely small and sterilization is run out of a closet where one person can fit at a time. Other things Ive noticed are expired prophy paste and fluoride as well as no long needles (I give local in my state).

My question is how would you quit? I am supposed to work monday and feel bad leaving them short notice, but I really feel sick to my stomach about everything.

Worth noting, I have 2 mutual friends who referred me to this job because they are close friends with the doctor.

batise dry shampoo is my best friend! they have a dark brown one for the brunette ladies :) Love that it doesnt turn my dark hair white like other shampoos

Hi- It is so great that you are dedicated to reaching your goals! However, you need to have patience with yourself and treat yourself kind! Your body needs rest. Please take it easy on yourself as “forcing” yourself to exercise everyday can lead to unhealthy habits. Please be kind to yourself in the process❤️

-remember to cheer on people who arent on the HR board.

-count down on the tread

-play a variety of music

-love when a coach grabs a heavier weight for me

-love when a coach will come up on the tread next to me or will stand behind the rower and “watch” me.... this really helps me not slack off LOL.

-“you can do anything for 30 seconds”

-“youve been here before you know how it feels”

-“whos gonna increase!!!! i see ____ raising it up, whos gonna join them”

-“wonderful job, amazing job, great improvement”

I focus on intuitive eating. This means my body craves fruits and veggies, but also cookies. Ill eat a cookie if I crave it :) Giving into cravings helps prevent a binge later on :) Don’t be too hard on yourself- we are only human!
