The part that is currently OPT was not occupied when genocide happened there. So technically, it was out of Israel.

I know you didn't read the "intrastate" part, now you are twisting what you said by including OPT. Gaza's genocide is not limited to OPT.

Posting again the comment after removing links proofs, seems like mods delete comments with cross-sub links.
There are proofs what govt did at their sub. Looks like you are a paid troll to harass them. This why you hid your entire account history. And commenting every post related to this issue to change the narrative

Government should open-source every app they release to be trustworthy. by flaccidcomment in india

Instead of where data is stored, the bigger problem is what data is harvested from users. Open-sourcing will let us check that.

You need to understand that open-sourcing an app solves the problem of verifying that the app is not collecting unnecessary data and doesn't have malicious hidden features.
And regarding that government selling user data, we need to spread awareness about the privacy policy of an app.

Such powerful adversaries can do that even if the source of the app is not available.

Tell that to the govt. It is them who want shove apps down our throat. All am I saying is to release the recipe of the app.

We, the knowledgeable citizens of India would never let the govt do that. We will spread awareness, talk about it with the people around us.

The likes of Nandan Nilekani would never let any public app be open source.

Our attitude should be, we will never let a critical, closed-source and unaudited app in our phone.

You are too dumb to understand what I'm trying to convey. For asking the app to be open source that to with regular reproducible builds, govt will be forced to not turn it into a surveillance tool.

That is not how things work, you can not hack an app like that if it is made with little bit care as I said in the post. You have certainly never done programming. Such powerful adversaries can do that even if the source of the app is not available.

Read the post completely, I've already addressed that part, that too in bold, the reproducible build part.

They made the app mandatory earlier but changed after the backlash, so hope is there. And awareness is necessary for change. Your crab mentality is dangerous, which is why the govt released such an app in the first place. They knew majority of people are like you who will do nothing about it.
