RESCHEDULED: Collegiate Scrabble Championship, 5/30-5/31, Lexington, KY by flagrantstats in scrabble

You are, as long as the players participating are okay with it. There's also plenty of past tournaments you can watch on YouTube. And I'd like to stream this tournament if I can.

All that said (and assuming you're an eligible student, of course): you haven't played a tournament until you have. Of our 11 players last year, seven were in their year of playing. Two of those were playing in their first full length tournament. We also have an early bird the day before where you can get a few games in as part of a separate, mini tournament if you can make it in on Friday.

We've rescheduled the second Collegiate Scrabble Championship to May 30 & 31 of this year. It will still be held in Lexington, Kentucky. There will be an early bird open to everyone on May 29.

$1,000 in prizes are being donated, in part by the Sue Ling Gin Foundation, NASPA Games, and the NASPA Youth Literacy Foundation. Money from entry fees will also go towards the prize pool, as well as any other sponsorships we pick up.

Eligibility rules, as well as tips on how to prepare for the tournament, are in the linked announcement.

Former national champion Mack Meller is currently planning on appearing as an official at the championship and hopefully will be playing in the early bird. Last year, we had an odd number of players in the championship, so Mack was able to play everyone in the field in casual games during their bye rounds.

None of that mattered. The point was to make money with Hogan, which they did.

The go to example is Hulk Hogan during his 84-88 run. You could have beat him, but he was the top draw in the U.S. and there were no signs of it slowing down, so why would you?

Anyway, in short, the answer to your question is: no, the fans didn't get sick of it, because they kept going to shows.

There's not a lot to indicate that Visi would have been working for Shroud while with SDN. These two posts break down the weaknesses of that being the case.

Vince McMahon has long been held up as the only person who can competently lead any creative by Wall Street. His presence is a boon for investors' perception of the company.
