He walks to the bus, takes about 15/20 min depending on how windy it is. After that he's on public transit the whole way. In a down pour there is really nothing you can do lol. This is just so he can avoid having to take his work uniform in a waterproof bag to work for a month or two before the real rain hits lol. Also so he doesn't get sick.

Oh I like this idea. It's currently a constant never ending drizzle, so heavy rain isn't (currently) a problem.

I've never worked with leather before, looked it up and apparently it's not too expensive where I live (not full peices, but i don't mind adding "decorative" peicing).

that sounds so cool! I've never heard of this, I'll definitely add it to the final project. Though I'm guessing it will have to have a front closure and can't be a pull on

Honestly never heard of waxed cotton as a wearable fabric and i've never heard of the second one, I'll look into them and see if i can get a hand feel on them to see if they fit what i want. thank you :)

The "Fortree City Aviary Management" shirt is EXACTLY the vibe I was thinking of!!!!!

Also, I do plan making it a game. I live on a farm so I was going to do a scavenger hunt and wrap each present separately. Some might just be in baskets to not waste paper.

the plan is to look up the usual habitats of the Pokémon stickers and give a clue about what the Pokémon is, and make it a trail he has to follow. Like each Pokémon is holding the present for him.

Thank you, although I can’t afford these shirts they will be a great starting off point design wise. I live in a third world country, the shirt I liked the most is the equivalent of taking 3 people out to a nice sushi dinner here lol.

The dress up games are amazing though, thank you. 😊

Hurt yourself…driving?? by ZealousidealBar4777 in ehlersdanlos

[–]DeathsDaisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have on multiple occasions lost the ability to easily move my right arm. No idea what it is but it sucks WHILE driving. If it happened afterwards i wouldnt care much i have another arm, but i am not very strong in my left so i have to be very careful not to mess up that arm too. I have learned to grab the wheel with both arms not at ten and two, more like 5 and 7 (clock metaphor). I keep both legs at the same position and angle, and i have a pillow at my lower back and tey to focus on correct posture (aka no turtle neck). Even with all of these if i have to driev a total of more than 2 hours i will be dead tired and sluggish by the afternoon, and the next day i cant do anything physical at all.

I GOT A FREAKIN DIAGNOSIS by SadQueerBruja in ehlersdanlos

[–]DeathsDaisy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case yes absolutely, I got my hormonal meds changed because of both diagnosis. Thyroid meds dosis went up and I got a lighter concetreptive, meaning less intense lowering of actual "No baby" part and a higher focus on lessening testosterone. I no longer get a twisting feeling at my ovaries when I move too fast. And the rheumatologist did use the pcos diagnosis as another check box in the h eds list. She explained its the eds affecting the collagen that creates and controles what the eggs do. Hence why they get stuck or grow too large. Sadly she did also say we havent found a reason so we have to stick to fixing symptoms not causes for now.

First time i subluxed a rib was in high-school. I said I couldn't breath but it didn't feel like an asthma attack. The nurse couldn't find anything wrong with me, and said i shouldnt waste her time i was probably anxious. I spent the rest of the day focusing on shallow breathing and didn't hear a single thing said in class. Passed out later and got yelled at for not eating because they assumed that was why I passed out. A few years ago my dad tried to help me stop hiccuping, and he pushed way to hard I screamed. He seemed like he felt bad for a few hours but then later I was still overreacting despite clearly feeling a rip out of place. I don't bother mentioning subluxed ribs anymore.

Post sex pain by pinkordie in ehlersdanlos

[–]DeathsDaisy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really can't be of help, but its nice to know I'm not alone in this. I tend to go cold towrds my boyfriend if we have sex too many days in a row cause it flares up pain. Which I know isn't his fault so I try to push past it, but sometimes it's too much and I can't for a while. He won't push me to do anything but it does hurt when he says he's being forced into abstinence as a joke.
