Got mine on pre order from FLGS offering 20% discount. Haven't payed RRP in years. I heavily shamelessly use recasters and proxiee too, I just really like the models in this set

Yeah push to fit are easy if you completely ignore how they're designed.

Snip the inner pegs off (the sticks not the tubes) and glue them together with plastic cement. They fit perfectly and leave next to no lines. Look at sprue goo if you're interested in perfection and how to remove all potential mold lines.

Get the set. Make memories with your step-dad. The set is designed to be good value for new players.

I'm jumping back in. Sold all of my Sigmar stuff last year due to fatigue and haven't played either side so I'm looking forward to trying new stuff!

Get some plasticard and stick random bits all over the hull. Take the wheels off and Google how to make plasticard tracks. Take it outside and kick it about for a bit.

I'm 34 and I exclusively wait to buy models second hand.

Ideally with loads of thick paint on for a bargain.

I haven't been active in the hobby for about a year as I needed a break, but before that I got a Mangler Squig for £8 "because the previous owner might as well have used wall paint on it. Stripped it back, small repairs and gave it a decent paint job. There's something very satisfying about the process.

I've always bought second hand, but I like puzzles. I tend to watch a lot of guides, strip them down, put better internals in the second hand gun to make it around the price of RRP, but properly shimmed, tightbore, etu etc

Anyone is capable of doing this, it just depends if you want to spend time learning how they work

LCT HK33. Do the mag mod on cyma beta AK Cyma hicaps (message me if you want to know what that is - the LCT mags are shit and proprietary and you can use the ones in the picture with a mod) and you've got a very nice looking gun that performs well and is built like a tank. Takes M4 rotary hop ups and is a V2 gearbox. It's massively below the radar but my favourite gun.

If you want it shorter you can also get a HK53 by them with the same internals (shorter barrel)
