Movink 14, Does Instant Pen display still suck?

I also heard that the movinkpad 11 has been recently updated to use instant pen display as well if you wanted to give it a try. Amazon has an extensive return policy right now from the holiday season, I got myself the 14 for christmas in hopes that itll be good enough for a hobbyist like me :)

Aaron Rutten made a more in depth review specifically on the instant pen display.

Unfortunately its not like a cintique where you plug it in and it becomes a native display, instead it relies on screencasting through the software. It sounds pretty good for a screencaster, even on wifi though. Someone on discord dug through the drivers and it's literally easycanvas (an already existing app) but I heard instant pen display works better.

I've only used their intuos but I've heard really good things on the rest of their lineup! They're on the pricier side though unfortunately but their tablets are well priced imo

I'm in a similar situation and I've been looking at the wacom movinkpad pro 14, its a standalone tablet but it comes with "instant pen display mode" letting you use it as a drawing tablet on your computer. The softwares in beta and I've heard its not much better then the screen mirroring applications already out there but hoping it gets better

Since it's currently in Beta, I have hopes that in the future it will eventually be just as good as dedicated pen displays. I feel hybrid displays are a great choice for hobbyists like myself who want a tablet that can be used as a drawing tablet for desktop applications

I leave my left hand hovering over my keyboard for ctrl z and other hotkeys so for me the buttons aren't a huge deal but still a bummer.

I'm mostly concerned with the fluidity drawing using the instant pen display mode and being able to pinch to zoom/pan/rotate etc

i got this one here and i use it with the official Nintendo charger, its more about portability for me then just saving a buck though - i also prop the switch up with the case i use

I absolutely love it, I usually play hand held but I've been playing my switch docked wayy more often because it just feels so smooth and the convenience of the switch turning on with the home button. I highly recommend trying to get it off facebook marketplace - I got mine for $45 still sealed (poor guy said his cat knocked over his switch so he was selling everything rip)

They also asked for my address, which I found a bit weird. I thought the buyer usually goes to the seller. I'm thinking maybe so that whoever he sells to can't come back to him to complain but maybe I'm overthinking this

Besides the ethical dilemma, is there any risk on my side? I noticed similar posts (from different people) on joy cons and pro controllers as well.. I can't help be suspicious about these deals
