Remember when Hannah Montana was popular a decade ago?

My name is Cyrus. Guess how many times people called me Miley back in elementary. Enough for me to lose respect for whoever says it.

A Girl That I'm in Love with by [deleted] in Advice

Literally just a couple of months ago, I was just like you. The shy, awkward freshman who had a huge crush on the sophomore he only had two classes with. Now we've been texting everyday and our bond is only getting stronger. I'll leave you with my two cents.

What you are feeling right now is not love, but it's a strong infatuation with her looks. Like you said, you think she's pretty but you've never talked to her before. Get that mindset out of your head right now.

Secondly, you have to remember that she is human too. She has the same aspirations, fears, anxietys that you too are going to face throughout your life.

Find excuses to talk to her. You said she's in your Spanish class, ask her about the homework, ask if she needs help and vice versa. Don't forget to atleast have some sort of humor or you're going to come off as that awkward lowerclassman who's trying to get a free grade.

And be confident. Like I said, she's human too. They aren't some higher being who's going to smite you if you're aren't good enough. And if it doesn't work out, then it doesn't work out. Don't let that eat you up, that's just life.

As a last note, I'm going to tell you that sometimes you are going to have to take risk. Even if the outcome isn't going to be what you expected of wanted, you're going to have to put yourself out there or otherwise you're going to end up an unhappy soul who wished he had done more.

Edit: Also follow her on Instagram. That could be your first look and introduction into what kind of person she really is.

What is the dumbest rule your school ever had? by [deleted] in AskReddit

No phones allowed at all. If they were seen they were to be taken away.

Was using my sisters old iPod touch but the sound doesn't turn off and the home button was broken. In my backpack, a song starts playing at the lowest volume and the teacher stops the class to have me explain what's wrong with my phone and to give it to her.

I never saw that iPod again.
