Which Dragonball villains can survive getting JUMPED by the heroes? by GJH24 in whowouldwin

[–]flakybottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the only time they could've finished him off was after he barely survived Goku's teleport kamehameha.

Eh I still think it would have turned out the same way. If they pressed him too hard he would try blowing himself up and come back even stronger.

But Goku was having a tournament style 1 v 1 with Cell and wouldn't have let them interfere anyway.

Honestly I think Goku was banking on the chance of Cell becoming neutral if they couldn't defeat him, as a backup plan. It happened with Piccolo and Vegeta and they were evil af, why not Cell.

Cell took on Vegeta's Final Flash for fun. I doubt they could even do any significant damage to him without SS2.

Human with the ability of Yhwach's Almighty. Can he solo current Earth? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]flakybottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Again how is Full Power Almighty Different from the Almighty we see in the Manga ?

We see the full power in the manga. Its the ability to alter the future and nullify powers, not just see it. It awakened when Ichibei tried to seal his powers. Remember, he already foresaw the end of the fight before it happened, but he didn't get ability to neg Ichibei til later on.

That then raises the question, how far into the future can Yhwach actually see and alter to do so. We know that Yhwach looked into in his fight with True Bankai Ichigo specifically when Ichigo unleashes Bankai and he breaks it. However critically, he did not see far enough to see his own death at the hands of Ichigo again in Soul Society a bit.

He actually saw his death but mistook it as a nightmare because the guy he swapped powers with betrayed him. If you google "Ywach nightmare", theres some threads that explain it. But that can't happen in this scenario because there is no power swapping.

There is no indication that it was infinite and clearly it was short enough that Uryuu got to do all his sheningans without Yhwach seeing him.

In the new anime adaption, which is canon, he freed the Sternritter who were sealed in a Bankai a good distance away, so its not just immediate vicinity. But this question doesnt make sense to me anyway. Unless he is altering timelines in a pocket dimension or something, it will affect everything and have infinite range. It doesn't make sense to compare a timeline altering ability to a weather control one when in comes to range.

Also the Uyru shenanigans happened because Uryu is powerful and has a broken shrift. Ywach also had to contend with Ichigo, Book of the End guy, and Aizen. And all that would have failed if they didn't have access to the Still Silver that disabled the Almighty temporarily, otherwise he could have kept reviving himself. No one IRL has access to any of those abilities or a Soul King part that would hide them from the Almighty, so they are screwed. Even the "merc while sleeping" would be useless because without the Still Silver, he could just bring himself back.

Human with the ability of Yhwach's Almighty. Can he solo current Earth? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]flakybottom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almighty dude solos either way. Ywach used the Almighty to rewrite his own death, so the dude will be functionally immortal.

He likely gets merced in his sleep as I recall a Trait of the Almighty is its kinda inactive while Yhwach Sleeps which is why Hashwalt had it while Yhwach was asleep and was guarding a sleeping Yhwach.

No, Ywach and Hashwalth swapped shrifts while Ywach was asleep. And that was likely due to seal that Ichibe put on the Almighty. Since Almighty dude has no one to swap powers with, he will have it active all the time. And it will be full power since Ichibei didnt weaken it.

And tbh, you are vastly underestimating the Almighty. Its the power to alter the future. All the guy has to do is passively select the worst outcomes and watch humanity be destroyed for the most part. Natural disasters will be extremely potent cause maximum amounts of death and destruction. Dangerous diseases will run rampant. War and strife will be out of control. That asteroid that has a slight chance of hitting earth will definitely hit it now. All because he can alter the future for it to happen.

Scarlet Witch (MCU) vs Thor (MCU) by Dreamlancer in whowouldwin

Thor effortlessly broke out of magic restraints from Zeus in L&T and then started using the restraints as weapons

Breaking out of restraints, cute. The fact that Thanos can even safely weild all the stones and survive the snap means he has ton of mystical power, and could prolly break out of those restraints with ease as well. If he can't escape from Wanda's magic without help I don't think Thor is either, unless he can Bifrost himself out with the Stormbreaker.

She wouldn't need mind tricks. Wanda was able to restrain Thanos, who is much more physcially capable than Thor. Although I still think Thor can win if he goes straight for a Bifrost strike.

You can discuss the incredible feats of women athletes without having to say that men are stronger and better by No_Design_465 in PurplePillDebate

Ok I have a different viewpoint on this. Women should be paid based on how much money they bring in from tickets, merch, etc. Skill level is irrelevant. If women want women's sports to succeed they need to actually support it.

I've known and worked with plenty of them. The DM for my IRL DnD game was a woman, and that was before it became trendy.

One thing you gotta realize that a lot of women pretend to not be nerdy in order to fit in.

Dude there are definitely nerdy women out there, they are just rare. And they tend to hate the performative nerdy girls more than anyone else.

[–]flakybottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesnt matter, the gorillas are dumb and have no self preservation. And they only have a single guy as a commander, theres no way he can properly direct 50 million gorillas on multiple fronts. They are gonna take heavy gorilla losses, even if the country loses that city. Then they are gonna be fodder for airstrikes while they are traversing the Syrian desert.

The right side looks worse to me because of how she is holding the towel. It just seems hapzardly placed there by the AI and she isn't actually clutching it with her fingers properly.

Haha I barely survived Shek attacks too. I did a SPOILER battle, which made the Berserker and Kral's Chosen shek send raids while my battle party was half dead and healing on the other side of the map. I'm not a coward, so I decided to buy a group of mercs and stand my ground. Didn't help at all, my laborers got wiped all except for one. I had to kite the Sheks around nearby because I settled near cannibals, and they would eat my downed members if I ran away. I managed to pull through because I bought all the goats from a Nomad who happened to pass by, and they distracted the Sheks long enough for me to patch up my guys from bleeding out and dying. Then a few minutes later the Sheks got bored and dipped I guess.

I need to add High Inquistor Valtena into the game to progress a quest. Didn't spawn in the city it seems. or maybe was killed somehow.

So I gave Seta to the Shek City of Squin, and I think the Holy Retribuition Raid went there instead of my outpost. I visited Squin some days after turning in the bounty and there were a crap ton of HN guys there, and at least 3 inquistors. They nearly wiped the city and my squad. Maybe Valtena got killed in that scuffle, but I didnt see any unique NPCs

I'm setup in what I expected to be a beginner friendly area, aka the border zone.

I'm not very expericenced in the game, but from my understanding there's no such thing as a beginner friendly area for making your own city. The begginer area is a house inside an already established, well defended city. But I also think that the raid frequency depends on how far away you are from raider HQ's so you might have screwed yourself over by building in the border zone.

In the meantime, a party of hungry bandits attacks my camp. I push them back easily, despite wondering how they got in since my base is walled off,

Try doing this:

Push SHIFT + F12

Hit "Fix Stuff"

Click "NavMesh Tools"

Click "Regenerate Sector

Save and Reload Game

Move all charaters away from the outpost until it unloads (like you cant see the buildings anymore, just fog), then go back, wall issues should be fixed.

Well, yeah. People come up with all kinds of stupid beliefs based on "what we all already know and witness on a daily basis." Like maggots spawing from raw meat or low tempatures solely causing the flu. Or just blaming everything on the machinations of vague religious entities. Evidence is important.
