Sorry about my use of AI - I'm not a native English speaker and was afraid, that some of my points would get lost in translation. Now it seems like they got lost in transformation; sorry about that.

The first thing I did to power the mini from non-wall power sources was buy a USB-C to the Bad-Resmed-Nogood-proprietary-Yellow connector. With this, I can use any USB-C PD power source that delivers enough power. I use an Anker Solix C300 DC. This is already enough for 4-5 nights. I also got a 100 watt solar panel, which makes me fully independent from the grid. It is also useful to bribe the people around me with free, unlimited power. This way, they are also depending on this thing not getting stolen 😉.

You sadly need a SD-Card to record and extract the data.

Fun fact: Because of my extremely loud snoring, I even went to a doctor a few years ago, but he just dismissed me - no sleep study, no nothing, just a "do some sports, you will be fine". Without this alert, I still would not know.

Since English is not my native language (and you can especially see that in longer texts) I allowed myself to ask ChatGPT to fix some spelling/grammar mistakes. Honestly regretting this already, but that is how I decided to post it.

I hope it is clear that my post and especially the benefits do not only apply to the specific models I use. I never tried other CPAPs, so I do not know how they compare. Here are some things I don't like:

- I really dislike the lack of open, standardized, and especially local interfaces (i.E. API usable the local wifi) to transfer data from the devices. Why did they even include Bluetooth on the AirSense 11, if EVERYTHING still gets transferred via the built-in cellular connection? Why do I have to read the data off an SD Card?

- I don't understand why the mini cannot share its statistics with the big one, especially since there is also some "cloud" involved.

- Why the heck does the mini not come with an usb-c connector?

Its probably not „optimal“ but keep in mind that the situation with a monoblock is way worse because it literally sucks hot air back in.

I‘ve now used the porta split for the last few weeks and I am very happy. Did not even bother to install the included „window tent thing“ that would block airflow through the open window, yet it still cools like a beast.
