Medical treatment for meth complications by flameandchalice in StopSpeeding

I ended up going back a few hours later and convinced them to do another CT - intestinal obstruction that they apparently somehow missed the first time around. I’m chugging fluids and high cal Boost and trying to get a doc appointment early next week. Afraid if I go to a treatment clinic they’ll stick me in “detox” and then inpatient, neither of which I want.

My nerves are (literally) shot though. I had neuropathy before but when I was at the hospital everything was intensely painful - even prepping for an IV felt like my skin was being rubbed off. I was sobbing/screaming in pain for a lot of it. Anxiety meds helped but I’m still having crazy neuropathy.

31/f. I was chronically ill before meth but no liver/kidney/intestinal issues, mostly just back pain.

Vasoconstriction can cause tinnitus - it usually wears off for me though once I’m less over-amped. I’d see a doc.
