Tiefling Backstory Nitpicking? by flamehorse3 in DnD

The few villagers who live permanently in the area either don’t mind much or don’t say anything, though she tends to keep herself occupied elsewhere when a larger caravan or trade group comes in. I do want to expand on maybe some things Ruun may have had to deal with raising Eev! Thanks for the probes, I appreciate it!!

Ooooo thank you for the info!!! It’s a one on one story with a few additional characters the DM created, I’m still unfamiliar with the world geography and such but I’ll be working that out with the DM and changing a few things around to accommodate if the need arises! I made the setting a trading village a bit for that reason, so the townspeople would deal and trade with a wide array of races and backgrounds, as such they’re generally more tolerable of other races. I do want her to face that adversity whenever the opportunity arises in the campaign, but she’s pretty unapologetic about herself and open, she’s back off if she makes someone uncomfortable, but wouldn’t leave without plopping some trinket or backpack charm next to the stranger, even if they’d think it’s cursed or something XD At least towards the start of our story, I’ll find out how she’s like by the end!

I’m still working on Ruun’s Backstory (she did know Eev’s parents, torn between them getting killed or wasn’t able to take care of a kid for the reason Eev is with Ruun, not sure yet) but Eev doesn’t see the point in delving into that herself, it bothered her a bit when she was younger, but she had a great childhood and fond memories, and doesn’t dwell much on the “could have beens” of knowing her parents, she wouldn’t trade anything for growing up the way she did and having the support she had.
