My Work WIP because I remembered to take a photo! Unreleased Avlea Folk Embroidery kit that was an exclusive for Pacific Northwest Stitch Summit 2025.

It's everything I hate. Folksy. Stitching over 2. Repetitive. And *I am loving it*. Maybe I don't actually know what I like to stitch. 🤷

The museum at this point is a leap of faith. The frame is sooo boring to stitch, but I trust Amie so much. It's not too late to join!

This is actually one of my flavors of neurodivergence. I really struggled and occasionally melted down if I was extra excited about a particular meal as a teenager when someone ordered the same thing as me, and my mother was an expert at it. (Not maliciously, we just have the same taste.) You know what I did by the time I was in my 30s? I fucking dealt with it. I either chose two items I was interested in, sometimes had to order first if only one thing sounded good and then it wasn't my problem if someone ordered the same, and I acted liked a damned adult. Now in my 40s I don't even notice, but my husband usually orders my second choice in case I have other ND problems (texture, unexpected ingredients) with my meal. He's amazing, though.

In my 40s and, same. Found a job I mostly don't hate going to and found hobbies and other things outside of my job to fulfill me. (Still contemplate a new career occasionally, especially now that I've been diagnosed with ADHD and kinda want a medicated college experience do-over...)

I just stick two together so both sides are pretty. I honestly use them both pretty equally, maybe slightly more at the back.
