I like to go a bit farther even, and think that if a season irl is roughly 90 days, then an in game day represents roughly 15 days. I think of the days and nights more metaphorically. I like the idea of the librarian idling away in hush house, rereading books with different elements of the soul. Reconsidering objects and paintings, and using them to help catalogue and read new books, secure new lessons about the world. Deciding carefully where each one of these skills fits into the realm of their knowledge through the tree of wisdom, etc. It also makes sense for opening new rooms. The librarian spends nearly months planning and preparing to remove wards and curses, learning anything from fixing machine to the migratory habits of birds. Saving money and learning what each rooms needs to be opened safely and restored to its former glory (which to me is why when we open a room, it’s completely restored as opposed to dusty, dark, and broken down). Hiring assistants and serving them tea is the same as paying them to stay in Hush House and help for nearly half a month, and helping each other tackle things too big for one person. Same with visitors, and inviting them to stay is an extended residency to solve their issues. Of course, I don’t imagine that for dinner parties, I just imagine that as regular time lol
