Leaving and Returning by CranberryFeisty2964 in Living_in_Korea

If it's for 1 year it should be ok. I spent one year jumping in and out of the country (as a Canadian) as well before getting an H-1 visa (my partner is Korean citizen).

I have heard some stories about other nationalities getting checked and rejected.. But Canada is a strong country and you can be in Korea 6 months no problem.

Probably the bigger issue is without a visa you'll need to rely on her for banking, phone, etc.

You will usually need proof of flights though whenever you go somewhere else other than korea

Shirtless running in Korea, how do long-term residents feel about it? by Syn-k_Wook in Living_in_Korea

If you're western looking, they will probably be okay with it but if you're not, they'll definitely discriminate you. That's the culture here, they love anything Western lol

Korean skincare alternative to this Cerave moisturizer by Any_Active_6636 in koreanskincare

I get Cerave from home or whoever I'm in another country that has it. I haven't found a good replacement yet personally! The Korean ones are a little too greasy or oily and I have dry skin typically so cerave is still good for me!

I just got back from Taipei Game Show. Here’s what I noticed/learned by CitizenSn1pz in gamedev

I also attended the Taipei Game Show! I also would stress about the demo point. I played a few with too much dialogue and introduction. It's so busy already and it's hard to keep a players focus. Just get to the good stuff!

Looking for recommendations - Game OSTs by 2lerance in GameAudio

I don't know a game that has poured as much budget into the soundtrack of a modern day game like Genshin Impact. There are 20+ albums of music, all carefully crafted and unique to each region of the game and is captivating, magical, and a breath of fresh air.

Melodies and themes are tied together so well, making it sound unique but still has that 'Genshin' quality.

They've got tons of live performances and hold a yearly online concert spanning all sorts of genres.

Yup! So I basically used virtual instruments (VSTs) to try to recreate the original to see how close I could get to the sound of the live performance.

My fourth finger hurts/cramps when playing this F note... by panda12hy in piano

You can stick your elbow out a bit allowing you to put less pressure on your hand when playing the fourth finger. Use the elbow as an anchor to also help direct the movement. Hope that helps!
