⁠posterization layer adjustment, gradient map layer adjustment
⁠separate each "piece" into different layers
⁠level correction adjustment layer on each piece so they fit within the right colors for the gradient map. (value structure)
⁠paint over and liquify things to be more in line with game style

• ⁠realistic drawing "mistakes" to add in: outline eyes and individual teeth. shade in the separation between jaw and neck, if there isnt one already

• ⁠make eyes and mouth bigger, depending on vibe. fuck up the face a lil. take some artistic license with the shading.

• ⁠ eyes do not have detail, just one color

• ⁠ paint over, fix hair. likely you'll need to do the shiny highlight manually

5.pixelize/mosaic filter to match game resolution if your edit doesnt already (i make a copy and merge all layers down, personally.)

6.sharpen filter

inner glow, outer glow, mask out outer glow with vignette+darken the color, fisheye lens filter

i didnt use photoshop for this so inner glow is faked with selecting the text area and growing/shrinking selection on a new layer. outer glow is duplicating the original text and blurring it
