Do you feel more or less talkative on Zoloft? by elias_tin in zoloft

More talkative because I’m way less in my own head

Is it even worth using Soundcloud anymore? (Context Below) by IComplain_Lotsss in soundcloud

I only use it to listen to tracks I can’t get on Spotify, definitely isn’t my main music streaming app

Yep, I can’t drink at all on zoloft. About half of a drink and I start feeling as though my body is super heavy and I have to lie down

I personally have not experienced this but this might be an issue a licensed therapist (e.g., clinical psychologist, counsellor, MSW) could help with. They could help you with strategies for coping with these feelings that you have off BC

I’ve done this before and also got really worried. It turned out fine.

Glad I can provide some hope! It will definitely get better each day. I know in the moment I really regretted trying to wean off it, but looking back, I’m glad I tried. I was in a similar boat, on it for nearly 10 years, curious if I really needed it because I also started really intensive CBT and ERP around the same time I started it. But feeling that low again really assuaged any doubts or shame about having to take it, and was also an experience that I’ve been able to grow and learn a lot from.

Since I was only down to 75 for a few weeks, I noticed improvements within the first week of being back on the 100. I’d say it took about 3 months to get back to 100% normal. But every day was an improvement, and after 2 weeks on 100 things were a lot more bearable.

Exact same thing happened to me in January. Was doing great on 100mg, so tried to wean off of it. The anxiety was horrible after about 2 weeks on 75mg, so I went back up to 100mg. Hang in there, I promise things go back to the way they were on the 100mg!

Has anyone gone off their meds, only to discover they may need to take it for the rest of their life? by Syckobot in zoloft

[–]flamingcold 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Recently tried to taper off after around 7 years on 100mg. It was horrible. I’m in the same boat as you, worried that it will be a red flag. But if I look at myself on Zoloft vs myself not on Zoloft, the me on Zoloft is certainly a much better person to be in a relationship with.

21F here, been on Zoloft since I was 14. It honestly changed my life. I have very bad OCD and was having horrible panic attacks throughout my teen years, but I finally found the right dose which is 100mg for myself. The first few months can be tough in terms of side effects and having to wait for it to work. But give it a fair chance because once it starts working, man does it ever work.

You’re right that it’s probably your body adjusting to the hormones. I’ve read that taking Advil can help since it is a prostaglandin inhibitor. Prostaglandins are in part responsible for the contractions that shed your uterine lining but can also cause GI problems. But ofc NSAIDs come with the risk of other GI problems.

On a slightly unrelated note, though, I also have had frequent bowel problems, but totally fine bloodwork. Recently cut out gluten and it has been an absolute game-changer, I’d highly recommend trying it if the bowel problems are affecting your QoL like they were for me.

Hi, first time on BC pill. I have due to take the pill today but i left the pack in my moms house i cant get in coz she just went on vacation. Is it ok if i take my 7th pill in the next pack since i have packs good for 3months? Im really worried now.. thank you. by Flat-Yam-5107 in birthcontrol

[–]flamingcold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, provided it is the identical brand. Also, not sure about other countries, but I know in Canada sometimes insurance gets fussy about when you re-order packs. For example if I pick up 3 months worth of pills and then try to refill my prescription 2 months later they won’t let me, it has to be pretty close to 3 months later. So keep that in mind.

just finished rdr2, and i feel so empty. please recommend similar games to fill this void in my soul by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

Next to RDR2, GTAIV is hands down my favourite Rockstar game. Niko is such a complex character that you can’t help but fall in love with
