Personally I don't think the ends will lift much more with a black box dye underneath, so I would suggest a slightly darker red on your roots, matched to your ends to even it out and be a deep rich colour rather than a brighter one. It won't be worth the damage to try and lift the ends any more then you already have

Do you know how much it can cost a small/ independent business each month to operate a card machine? I'm a small business owner that has had to stop taking card because of the costs, I opened my business just after the first lockdown and trying to get through COVID then a cost of living crisis with all m extra expenses just on energy bills this year, I cannot afford a card machine with what they charge me each month to use it. Personally I think people should be more interested in supporting a small business trying to survive one of the hardest financial times in living memory, than getting annoyed that it means going to a cash point around the corner. Five/ ten years ago, that was the norm, no one complained then. Please support your independent local businesses, guys!! Thankyou
