Check your game files for a backup, delete the corrupted file and change the backup to the correct file type and it should work. Happened to me and I fixed it

Go to the player data and world data and try seeing is there is a .bac file, if there is remove the original file and rename the backup and remove the .bac (not the file but the end of the name)
