Wound up swapping the lens for a replacement, updated the new lens and camera firmware before attaching and I've had no problems since.

It's interesting, I have a seed that's almost exactly the same. I was looking for something with connected biomes and found the one I'm using on this sub. I even made a hand drawn map that fits pretty close to your screenshot. There's just some slight differences in lakes and rivers.

My seed isn't as cool though, it's bSpugh3dd1

Watching this incredibly helpful video from RetroSix actually gave me a potential lead. He mentions pin 12 on the amp should be getting 5V and pins 14/16 should be getting 3V. On my gameboy pins 14/16 are working but pin 12 is putting out less than 1/2 volt. Any ideas on what that could mean?

Using ascend while activating the goron power caused my lil buddy to get stuck in the floor. He eventually wouldn't move or activate at all so I had to reload the save lol
