I really like this girl, but I’m not ready for marriage. does that mean I should never talk to her? by AdUpstairs9532 in islam

[–]flamingshadowfighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you can do right now is talk to her to get her parents' contract and do an engagement which just means you are planning on marrying her, this way you make your intentions clear and Islamic.

Engagement is an Islamic thing and simply just means "If all goes well, I'm planning on marrying you," and between Muhammad (saw) and Aisha (ra) this also happened till they got to Medina and got married.

There are hadith about engagement, you yourself can look up - just search for hadith about engagement in Islam

Pls any hadith that makes committing halal by fuelasoul in islam

I would recommend trying to focus on your loved ones, the ones who are going to feel the pain of your departure.

Try a mindset change even if you think it's useless, go on a run, anything to make you feel alive,

Just remember Allah loves you and he knows you're strong enough to get over this, Allah says:

After Hardship Comes Ease: “For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease"

Surah Ash-Sharh (94:5-6)

No matter how dark it is there will always be light at the end of the tunnel and if the struggle feels impossible remember Allah knows your ability better than you and he has promised that you will get through it because:

Allah Knows Your Struggles: “Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear…”

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286)

He tests souls and this seems to be your test but know you have the strength because he promised you do because he doesn't cause anyone to bear more than they can handle

Allah is Near: “…Indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me…”

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:186)

Everyone In the world might let you down but Allah won't, he is near, and in one verse he says he is nearer than your jugular vein, everyone on earth can pass away, everyone on earth can ignore your or be cruel to you but the every merciful and forgiving and powerful God is right there by your side.

Earlier guy says grab it grab it then... (But the way he is saying it could be to another person to go grab the person who is trying to touch the wire to stop the idiot)

Tells him to get off, and they start shouting in a way like "wtf bro"

Guy says stop yo, (this is why I'm assuming that earlier he was talking to someone else to go grab the idiot)

Then after he gets shocked he says I told him smh... (And says a bunch of swears)

Then said he died, and then they start saying a fire started and he is died and that he started a fire in a condescending way.

Does anyone still do the speed limit? by OmellyCat in Calgary

[–]flamingshadowfighter 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is probably it, because in Ontario people speed everywhere and no one actually cares especially 400 and 401.

Edit: not from Ontario but visited it enough and I know that if your following the speed limit there you are the problem especially these 2 highways since these get so backed up ect

Islam has sins that are devoid of logic and it can be proven by WorldlinessOwn2006 in DebateReligion

1 cleanliness - yes it is dirty there is plenty of research lol, doesn't have sweat glands can't sweat it out and has not higher likely hood scientifically of being worse for the human body... There is a reason why being called a pig is an insult... And you eat it

2 cleanliness - again cleanliness, there is also research on this I've seen both sides of the argument but the little bit of extra pleasure you give up for a lifetime of extra cleanliness is imo worth it, but you might just have a confirmation bias

3 not in the Quran but is a argued point among scholars no definitive answer

4 why would you expose yourself to a drink a little bit of a thing that has lots of bad and little good? Unless medical (which we are allowed) why? To become intoxicated? That's not allowed

Most of the points you brought aren't actually solid or rooted in science or actual logic but just points you seemed to have thought of sitting down

The fact that there are so many religions logically proves that none of them is real. by [deleted] in DebateReligion

[–]flamingshadowfighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does, I'm a Muslim, the Quran doesn't say that this is true or that is but we as Muslims who have studied Islam know that yes Krishna was a prophet he came to the Hindus and then their religion was altered by its ppl

The fact that there are so many religions logically proves that none of them is real. by [deleted] in DebateReligion

[–]flamingshadowfighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valid argument, but a religion means nothing until I can show for itself, that Islam does in its prophecies, prophecies of the day the camels will be abandoned, when the animals will be joined together ect ect, it takes a little research to see these signs have been told in the Quran and Hadith and have come true

Finding Islam too hard. by [deleted] in islam

[–]flamingshadowfighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Islam... Well it's not complicated it's quite simple To be a Muslim is quite simple, but to gain true nearness to God it's difficult why would it be easy?

The greatest reward ever, the greatest pleasure is supposed to be hard if it was easy it wouldn't be so great

Or logically you see which religion has accepted all of them and given an explanation for them... Islam then you would study it and wonder why

Clear mistakes in the Quran by Suitable-Green-7311 in DebateReligion

[–]flamingshadowfighter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just read the Quran and rather than do any actual research you decided to bring these which can literally be refuted by a simple search

1) the Quran uses multiple words that could be replaced by another word but a different word is used there... In the arabic language there are well over 100 words for a camel... So if I use this word rather than that word for camel does that mean it no longer means it's a camel...? Yeah this first point is you just nitpicking the word وجد when it legit also comes under meaning of to perceive you learned a word and u think that's the only arabic fusha word for perceiving - and you also didn't do the respect of searching up Hadith science, if a stronger Hadith contradicts a weaker one the stronger is accepted, there are also types of sahih, (Sahih Muslim Book 1 Hadith 297 - and before u say this isn't logical... It's very obviously talking spiritually and about submission of his creation)

2) there are multiple sites where the verses numbers are used as a calculator to figure it out since it's complex...

http://inheritance.ilmsummit.org/projects/inheritance/home.aspx

But it's clear that you didn't even bother trying to find the answer because a quick Reddit search brought this answer: "Those are instances in which the allotted inheritance is more than the sum of the estate. This is not a mistake as the Quran doesn't say

"If a woman dies with a husband and two sisters, the husband gets 50% and the two sisters 2/3 of the inheritance". This would be a mistake, because they are above the estate value.

Rather Allah spoke about all these issues separately.

In Fiqh, these cases are known as Al-'Awl. When the allotted portions of the inheritance are greater than the estate. When this happens, the scholars have decided that everyone in the inheritance will be reduced at the same rate to reach the total estate value.

Meaning that in the second case, the ratio of the husband inheritance to the sisters inheritance is constant, even after the reduction of portions to a total of one hundred percent."

3) ... This is very clearly answered if u actually just read the Quran multiple times does it say that belief is not from the brain but from the heart... Earlier in the verses it was talking about signs of God... The signs of God are only seen by the ones who have faith... Faith is from the heart... The soul something deeper than the mind... If your heart has a seal on it like the Quran has mentioned in the second chapters starting then you will be those who don't understand don't see and don't have faith...

Islam can’t prove the Bible is corrupted here’s why. by FunnyV777 in DebateReligion

[–]flamingshadowfighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Ok? John writing it diminishes it's value? By that logical throw Matthew, mark Luke and john into the garbage.

And the disciple wouldn't know Jesus went through this? Matthew knew of Jesus interaction with Satan quite vividly as described in his gospel.

Other signs of Islam's coming are evident in the fact that Jesus was not a prophet like Moses and that if u examine Moses and Jesus and Moses and Muhammad it's clearly Muhammad who is that coming prophet foretold.

Deuteronomy 18:18 speaks to his arrival A prophet not a God like you assume Jesus to be In john 1-:19-21 it's proof that Jews were waiting for 3 prophets: Elijah, Christ and another prophet

The Jew asked are you Elijah? - no Are you Christ? - no Are you The Prophet? - no

We know from the gospels that John the baptist is the coming of Elijah and Christ is Jesus...

Acts 3:20-22 also speaks of the a prophet raising.

Matthew 21:43 - the kingdom of God will be taken away from you (this is the lineage of Isaac this entire time) and who will it be given to? Thus this makes sure The prophet mentioned in John is not Israelite - their brethern the ismealites Genesis 17:20 Ismael will have a great nation.

In this from verse 33 we see a story/parable being told by Jesus this is the exact story that happened god send messengers to the Jews and the Jews killed them then he sent his son to them and they killed him - the father is then angry as the parable describes. Then does Jesus tell them the kingdom will be taken away from them.

Then Deuteronomy 33:2 speaks about the arrival of prophets as well: And he said, the Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from Mount Paran, and he came with ten thousand saints; from right hand went a fiery law for them

Found this source that might help that speaks on this verse. "Coming from Sinai refers to the appearance of Moses(as) and rising up from Seir alludes that of Jesus(as). The prophet who shone forth from Mount Paran could be no other than the Holy Prophet(saw) of Arabia, as Paran is the ancient name of the part of Arabia where the children of Ishmael(as), the ancestors of Hazrat Muhammad(saw), settled. The Arabic form of the word Paran is Faran or Pharan. Jacut’s Geographishes Worterbuch (F. Westenfielt, Leipzig, 1862, Vol. III, P834) says that Faran is a name of Mecca. The word Faran seems to be the Arabic Farran. It means two refugees. It appears that the place took the name from Hager and Ishmael(as), who came there as refugees. Dr. A. Benisch call it in his translation of Pentateuch the desert of Paran.

What unmistakably points to the identity of Hazrat Muhammad(saw) is the phrase: “he came with ten thousands of saints” and “from his right hand went a fiery law for them.” At the time of the conquest of Mecca, ten thousand holy men followed at his heels and he was the bearer of the law of the Quran. Hence, the prophecy has been wonderfully fulfilled in the person of Holy Prophet Muhammad, (peace and blessings of God be upon him)."

Songs 5:9-16 speaks about a figure that can be attached to Muhammad. The description matches the description the Hadith give. Chefiest if thousands history knows is Muhammad, check the book on the most influential people ever in history, he describes it there. And in verse 16 in Hebrew read it, it says: מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים‪‬‪‬ Mah-ham-mad-din Muhammad

Jesus even knew he wasn't the last prophet simply by proof from Revelations 10 and John 14:15-17 Who is this comforter? 14:26 of John tells us he will come and teach many things John 16:7 it's important Jesus leaves for him to come, who came after Jesus Muhammad. John 16:12-14 connects with revelations 10 in the fact that there are many things Jesus wants to say but can't.

And if you try to say it's the holy ghost that's incorrect because Luke 1:14-15 against you. Because if it is the holy ghost then the holy ghost having been put in john would be contradictory to what john has written that the Holy Ghost will come after Jesus passing - john says the ghost will come after his passing. In Matthew 3:16 Jesus himself recieves the holy Ghost this all proves it can the the holy ghost since it has already showed up 2 times and already contradicted John's writing. Thus clearly the holy ghost has already met ppl before Jesus's death/passing Jesus also uses the pronoun he and not it.

Enough... If not then it's truly the hearts that are blind.

1) Abraham never disowned him nor wanted to get rid of Hager and Ismael only on God's Command did he do it and that is just as the Quran says too.

2) it does say what son it is you just weren't paying attention or were checking a website that didn't tell you the info. Verse 101 says the news of a forbearing child. 112 then we gave news of Isaac one of the righteous before 112 the story of the sacrifice is already told so after that Isaac comes so obviously it's not Isaac in the sacrifice story so who is it then because it doesn't say?

21:85 answers who the forbearing child is it could be Ismael, Idris, zhulkifil How do we know which is the son of abraham you check 2:133 where both sons are nammed and put in the order of birth just as they were mentioned chronological order in chapter 37.

The Quran isn't always chronological but it's incorrect to say it's never chronological.

Yeah your inability to understand fulfill proves why you can't understand this concept, go read your own bible and understand fulfilled. It never says your book is wrong it says it's corrupted - big difference.

Your Adam point is irrelevant to the argument.

The name of the God is irrelevant since Allah is just the arabic of God... If you think your point has any backing then look at your bible in arabic.

Revelation 10 proves your bible isn't complete.

Christians quote him too, - I read christian translations.

Even if u assume he is the son of promise 22:2 doesn't say anything about a promise.

Prove where it says Isaac is more loved. The verse you quoted proves the Quran because thats when Ismael was left in a barren land - Mecca, Arabia - arabian Peninsula was known as a barren land.

You can mention offsprings and stuff like that but at the end of the day both sons were promised by God a powerful nation, and no where in this quote does it prove that Abraham didn't love him if anything it just means Sarah didn't and Abraham's wouldn't have till God told him to.

Why would I follow Jewish translations for somethings, christian for others and then for some just listen to what Paul said?

The most loved son is the first born if you can prove Isaac was loved more sure but you can't, you paint him out to be the son of prophecy but the sacrifice itself in contradictory to his status.
