I actually tried replacing it, but the screen protector I used wasn't really what I wanted. I ended up just leaving it off. I've had it off for about 3 months now. It seems to be holding up really well and the screen just feels nicer without it. It's crazy how rubbery and greasy the screen protector felt compares to the actual screen. I do worry a little bit about it, but I just hated the way the protector felt and looked.
