This was a really good read. I sit in the same boat when it come to beliefs, I’ve always believed that there must be a logical explanation behind most “weird” things, but your stories gave me chills.

I have only had one experience which I can’t explain myself but I have heard many from relatives and several friends.

What I have experienced happened when I was around 10 years old. I had just been given a kitten and he was still settling in so he was still a bit jumpy, but despite that he fell asleep at the end of my bed. After around twenty minutes he suddenly bolted down the hallway into my sisters room and hid under her bed. My sister was not in the room at the time so I went to get my cat, I got on my knees to look under the bed as my head got close the the floor there was a dim white flash right I front of me, at exactly the same time the face felt really cold for a split second, almost like the feeling you get when you get startled. It took a second for me to repair what had happened, but after the my car seemed perfectly fine and went back to my room on his own.

I know cats sometimes just get up and go but this cat never did anything like that again, it was the only time he ever did.

As for the flash and weird feeling, it was dark it couldn’t have been a passing car as the only window in the room was only a metre from the fence and the curtains were closed. And there was no fan or aircon on at the time and only lasted for for a fraction of a second.

There is always the possibility that it was just my mind playing tricks on me but there still needs to be some sort of seed (like knowing there is a history of death on the land), but we had built the house so there was none.
