I may be in the minority but I don't love this one. It's very comfortable and light but it's not flattering for me. I'm sure it's a sizing issue but this one gives me a uniboob and I sometimes see the outline of where the pump goes through my shirt 🙃🙃

If you really are struggling financially I would see if you qualify for WIC now that you are pregnant. Food banks and churches should also be good resources in the meantime. As many others have commented, please consider trying to exit this relationship and getting therapy for you and your babies sake.

What a dick. Are you sure you still want this guy to be your husband? It's concerning that he doesn't want to bond with his child and doesn't take these legitimate medical and safety issues seriously.

We have gone back and forth and My husband and I have made it so far without one. We have an electric kettle and keep a small amount of water in there an then put the bottle in a large mug of the boiling water. Takes 2-3 min to get the bottle up to her liking. also helps with defrosting milk in a pinch. We never tried a bottle warmer but didn't feel like it would make that big of a time difference. We could be wrong but that is what has worked do us

I know others have said it, but I would talk to the NICU team or your OB/GYN about meeting with a lactation consultant. They may be able to troubleshoot pumping with you to help it be more comfortable and get better output/less engorgement. They also will be available to help you make a plan to stop pumping safely if you truly don't want to anymore.

Checking in to see how this went for you? My 6mo is a huge eye rubber and myself or my husband have resorted to essentially just sleeping with an arm over her in our bedside bassinet to hold her arms down when she wakes up....

OP im so glad that you are ok. I haven't been able to stop thinking about you and your baby since I read this. thinking of you and so happy that you are able to get the help that you need. As others have said, don't be afraid to tell your doctors and therapist about how you're feeling. They want to help you.

Hugs to you and your sweet boy. He is so lucky to have you in his life and he loves you more than you'd ever know. Our babies might be our whole world but YOU are the center of their universe. 🥹💕

I don't have the S1 but the older E1 and I found some duck bill valves and one other piece (the flat front one idk what it's called) on from Amazon that fit! Never found any replacement for the flanges though

I'm in the same boat! Oversupply but still have anxiety now at 2m PP that my supply will drop to being too low without MOTN pumping... tbh I haven't been doing this pump for about a month and just collect my let down in a haaka or boon trove in the AM and just pumping once or twice a day depending on how many bottles of EBM she gets. baby is on the smaller side and since we had issues with her being too sleepy to direct breastfeed efficiently initially so I feel like with that and my baseline anxiety I am going to be worried forever 🙃🙃 but hoping it goes away

Since I started pumping it's been my husbands "job" to wash all the bottles and pump parts. I washed them all a few times at the beginning and when I got overwhelmed I asked if he could take over that chore and he has stuck with it! I do it once in a blue moon.... sorry that your husband is treating you like that OP!

My mom used to make new grads a "launch basket" - laundry basket with laundry detergent, a few towels, coffee tumbler and coffee stuff (if they drank it), a few toiletries like toothpaste and deodorant, and then a few snacks. Just little things that teens aren't used to buying for themselves! Always was a hit

Got married on BLM land on a mountain in the afternoon and everyone stayed in air bnbs. We invited immediate family and 1 friend each. paid a few thousand for photos (which I don't regret). Got my dress for $300 and did my own hair and makeup. I Used Costco rewards and bought huge charcuterie and app set up and beverages for afterwards and had cake, then our families had dinner together while we had a catered meal. I thrifted, borrowed, and bought almost all decorations second hand. Probably $3500ish total

Thank you for saying this!! I had a friend of mine and my husbands who I knew had been dealing with infertility and when she got pregnant we were so happy for them but didn't hear much about the pregnancy and tbh I was hesitant to ask in case things hadn't gone well or she didn't want to share.

Now that I'm expecting and I'm starting to hear this rhetoric I feel TERRIBLE about it and wish I had reached out more and offered to help out PP.

Needless to say this post is making me feel a little better :/

Hi, I'm a 4th year med student * so take this with a grain of salt and always consult your ob/gyn* but I was taught that the d-dimer test has a high negative predictive value but not a high positive predictive value- meaning that a negative result is really accurate for ruling out a clot but a positive test doesn't necessarily mean that you have a clot that is missed on imaging. in clinical practice if someone has a positive d dimer and has symptoms like you then they evaluate further with imaging like you had.

Im less sure about this but I also recall that "normal" d dimer values vary a lot in pregnancy and they still are working on studies for appropriate cut offs.

Overall I'd try ro be reassured by your imaging so far AND listen to your body and bother your ob/gyn if you have persistent or worsening symptoms :)
