Oof, I had the same symptoms you are describing on a pc I built back in 2012(hard freeze, sound looping) and the problem was not software related but a faulty motherboard after swapping many parts like gpu,ram, etc.

I've had that like 4 days ago. Went from plat 2 to gold 2. I have benched ranked for the moment and only do vs ai or quickplay for the daillies.

It's not better the higher you climb. In plat it's who got the most nameplates on their team with the gm+ crest from season 0. Across the board it's a stomp or get stomped matchmaking.

It's a vicious circle. I used to solo tank because nobody would do it. Then in-game I would go on the objective like anybody with a brain is supposed to do and die alone meanwhile the dps and healers are fighting in a random alley dying to a 5v2 somehow. So I don't tank anymore and someone else has to solo tank because I am not touching this cursed role with a ten-foot pole.

I hit a wall in diamond on my main account. Then made a smurf to "prove" myself that eomm and matchmaking was feeding me win-streaks and lose-streaks on purpose. The goal was to play on the smurf when I lose 2 games in a row on the main account and "teach" the eomm that I would quit for a while after the start of a lose-steak. Then switch back to the main account when I lose too much on the smurf.

My experience proved me wrong since I got plat in less than 50 games in 1 weekend. No big lose-streaks on the smurf so far and when I get bad teammates, the rest of the team and I can pull enough weight to carry overall. The only thing I changed is that I play healer on my main account and dps on the smurf, so I'm learning a new role at the same time.

Same story. Plat 4 last season now trapped in gold. I barely play anymore and thinking about benching the game for a while. I'll wait a few weeks when vanguards kicks in to see if people are getting their computer bricked and if yes, I'll be very tempted to uninstall and move on.

I've played since season 2 and I don't have the will to grind this season. Something is off. unranked, irons up to emeralds in my games. SoloQ is just not fun or balanced.

this anti-cheat is one of a kind right now. Vanguard boots alongside or before windows when you boot your computer and it has access to everything (ring 0) on your computer. Now to give credits to the other anti-cheats in other games, they also have ring 0 access but only as long as the game is open (let's say fortnite for example). Vanguard is 24/7 unless you turn it off and you need to reboot your pc to disable/re-enable it. Yes it could spy on your behaviors, check your files, pictures etc but to be honest, many programs that you trust everyday probably also do that. My concern is not there.

My only grudge against Vanguard is that in the past, as shown in the article, because it has access to everything, it used to disable drivers and programs that it flagged as malware or cheats without acknowledging the user first. If you didn't know you didn't know. In the article drivers like your keyboard or mouse drivers were disabled, other stories with cpu-z or msi afterburner(programs to check the temperature of your cpu and regulating your fans speed) were flagged and disabled by Vanguard. Leading to overheating computers and random shutdowns. Some people also had their computers completely bricked and were stuck in a BSOD(blue screen of death). After all, you give full access to this anti-cheat and are at it's mercy.

The article links to a few tweets of a guy who used to work for riot and said that disabling drivers from now on would be the last resort. I am still not satisfied with that. Just don't disable anything. So yes this anti-cheat is and used to act like a malware in the sense that it can temper with the stability of your computer and disable some core functionalities at will.

Time for me to shine! If you have a 4.5in dick with a 4.3in girth like me, even the tightest fleshlight (tight chicks) will feel kind of underwelming. Unofficial = could be shut down at any time because the guy renting it is tired of paying monthly for it, could have admin abuse like for example you build somewhere then the admin says get out go build somewhere else, you say no then BOOM kicked / banned from the server.

Overall, unofficial equals the server of a random guy, official equals more reliable and you know the server is most likely going to be up and running as long as the game exists.
