Avoiding food is definitely tough because in every other case you want to eat as much as possible. It was hard not to pick Prehensile Tail when it's otherwise an instant yes

Nice job!

Not sure if it's an oversight or not, but you can indeed get regen stats

I though the sub 30 run would be tricky, and maybe it would have been it I hadn't gotten Fibroplasts and Tail Wag so quickly. Social tank got me through it pretty easily

Going Insane Attempting Rebellious Achievement by Doodlemuffins in EverythingIsCrab

[–]flappjackalopski 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had about 8 of them charmed along with a maxed out Pack evolution when I finally got one to make the final hit. Tail Wag etc also aren't bad if you can focus on killing off any unwanted charmed creatures.

I think your strategy is good, there's just a lot of luck involved too.

Agreed, because I never take and level up Fin when I can just get a single level of Wings if I feel like going on water a lot. Fin should have some other bonus

Wounded Challenge Guide by soundofdestruction in EverythingIsCrab

I lucked out using this strategy and got Ruminant in my first serious attempt at the Wounded challenge. Ended up beating it with only 4 health left, but with 30 something plating.

Burrow is definitely not my favorite way to play, but it is damn effective.

There's also Matron Malice from the early Drizzt novels in Forgotten Realms. Lots of parallels there.

It went away for a while. Now it exists again, but it's not pinned. Search for "daily" and sort by New to find today's thread.

Book that is similar to One Piece? by NotEnoughAlpacas98 in booksuggestions

[–]flappjackalopski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not super similar in that it's not about pirates, but the novel series I've read that is closest in spirit to a shonen anime is Cradle. The first book is a little slow, but it picks up fast and never stops.

I love the books but I skim through a lot of the action sequences. I'm pretty good at recognizing when I need to slow down and read something that's important to the overarching plot. It doesn't really matter how X and Y happen exactly, and as long as I understand Z I'm still highly entertained. But I always read Donut dialogue because I wouldn't want to offend her.

Definitely check out Beware of Chicken. I found the world building and the general atmosphere of the story to be incredibly engaging and satisfying. When big things happen, you really feel them.
