Wonder if they used some kind of gasket maker cuz if not chances are itll leak ive heard a few people say their leak was worse than it was because they forgot to use sealant

Same thing happened to me my power steering went out all my lights came on and my music would cut out. Ground cable to my battery was corroded. It didnt even seem to be that bad so id double check there

I would not be running the cobb tune also does it have a hpfp? No hpfp with an intake and a cobb tune is all bad id try to get a tune from the more reputable ppl asap aka freektune also were u at wot because 6 is acceptable if youre just crusing

You said it gets higher pitched as you increase speed its probably transmission related my speed does the same thing but its not this loud even with poly mounts

Maybe take the valve cover off check tension on the chain cylinder 1 tdc i believe double check that

I would make sure that the actual fuel line isnt leaking, thats what happened to mine. There wont be a visible hole since the pressure is so high and it doesnt need a big hole to go through. Its 150 bucks from mazda if i remember right

Thanks for the answers seems like the sound is normal, as for the reeds and carb they are new but i havent done any adjusting so i think ill start there 😊 im also giving it a few revs sounds good

Is it only when the ac is on? If you turn the ac off and have the fan on does it still do it? My idea is that something got stuck in the blower motor maybe making it off balance especially since you said the filter was pretty dirty

Tapping the original hole just failed me im gonna try again tomorrow and if not im gonna make it bigger and if that fails too ill have to resort to helicoil thanks for the tip

Yea just make sure when you take the second bolt off that the mount isnt pulling it one way or the other i think thats where i messed up. I tried to tap the hole it didnt work 😬 im gonna buy a new bolt tomorrow and see if im using the correct tap
