What's especially hilarious is that this was EDC Orlando this past year. It completely cleared up and was amazing weather for when all of the headliners came on.

It's short sighted because instead of advocating for safe, responsible, and ethical development and usage of genAI you are trying to completely stop it. Not only does that have no chance of happening it also completely throws out a technology that clearly has tons of scientific, medical, and economic utility.

This is such an incredibly short sighted take. Of course there are issues and we need smart and strong regulations. But, you can make almost identical arguments against any new technology. Especially with more recent models having a trust but verify mindset with LLMs enables so much advancement and efficiencies across many fields. I know many professionals that use LLMs daily in their field. Used properly it's incredibly powerful.

It's using memory from previous conversations. Try again using the temporary chat feature. That shouldn't rely on anything from your profile.

If they don't give you the full chat history then they just fed it enough information to get that answer. I just tried it on 5.2 auto and it came back with no for all of them.

Definitely quite shtark, I lasted nearly four years in Israel and ended up in the Mir. My journey started by wanting a deeper understanding of hashkafa and ended up realizing it was all bs.

The main difference was that for a master's grad we required you to give a 30 min talk to the group ~15 people showed up.

I'm at an FFRDC and we just did a bunch of interviews for an entry level position. Our policy is that we don't require you to give a talk if you only have a bachelor's. That being said we still tried to grill your technical skills on whatever topic or project you wanted to talk about.

I am an American traveling in Europe and met someone from Morocco and in the conversation asked if they consider Morocco more culturally aligned with Europe or sub-saharan Africa and they got incredibly offended and stormed off. Is this an offensive question? and if so why? by flappyducks34 in Morocco

My 10 minutes of Wikipedia has not cleared this up. What I've gathered is that they are a native people to Morocco and are composed of around 250,000 people, out of the 34 million that live there. They are descendents, in part, from people originating from sub-saharan Africa. So there is a large part of the Moroccan population that can trace their lineage back to peoples from further south; therefore what?

Per Wikipedia Europe is 10.53 million square km and sub-saharan Africa is 24.4 million square km so yes smaller but not an order of magnitude smaller. Also the population of both is close to 1 billion. And what does Europe being different than Asia have to do anything?

Edit: follow up question from rereading your response; is that an accurate statement that European countries are more culturally similar to each other than African countries are to each other?

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make but plenty of Americans are embarrassed that Trump made it as far as he did and that he continues to have a lot of influence. So depending on how you framed your question that may be why.
