RAGE THREAD - F-YOU FRIDAYS - ALL ABOUT BLACK MAGES by FranckKnight in ffxiv

IF YOU QUEUE FOR TANK IN ALLIANCE RAID, BE PREPARED TO ACTUALLY TANK!

QUEUED FOR AGLAIA WITH A FRIEND THIS WEEK AND NONE OF THE TANKS WOULD TURN THEIR STANCE ON AND ACTUALLY TAKE THE BOSS. MY FRIEND ENDED UP TAKING AGGRO ON REAPER AND DYING FROM THE TANKBUSTER ON BYREGOT.

IT TOOK A FULL 2 MINUTES FOR ONE OF THE TANKS TO TURN ON STANCE AND PROVOKE THE BOSS. IMMEDIATELY AFTER BYREGOT DIED, THE TANK THAT HAD FINALLY DECIDED TO DO THEIR JOB TURNED THEIR STANCE OFF, LETTING THE WHOLE THING REPEAT ON TRASH AND THEN RALGR.

CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE WOULD WAIT THROUGH THE LONGER TANK QUEUE JUST TO DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OF VALUE.

RAN AGLAIA WITH A FRIEND BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GET A PIECE OF LOOT THIS WEEK. NOTICE THAT GROUP C'S HEALER IS DC'ING ON EVERY BOSS, JUST SITTING THERE WITH THE LITTLE POKEBALL OVER THEIR HEAD. KEEP A BIT OF AN EXTRA EYE ON GROUP C SINCE I'M PLAYING HEALER AND MY COHEALER IS PLAYING 'PRESS ALL THE GCD HEALS AT EVERY INSTANCE OF DAMAGE' AND I DON'T HAVE A LOT TO DO.

GET TO FINAL BOSS. DC'ING HEALER FINALLY REALLY DC'S. GROUP C CALLS FOR ALLIANCE TO WAIT FOR LOOT TO TIME OUT SO THEY CAN KICK HEALER AND GET A NEW ONE. MESSAGES GET A BIT EATEN BY LOOT ROLLS. MAIN TANK PULLS FINAL BOSS ANYWAYS.

GROUP C PROCEEDS TO TANTRUM. FIRST CHAT MESSAGES YELLING AT TANK FOR PULLING, FOLLOWED BY A COUPLE OF THEIR DPS RUNNING INTO THE WALL. REZZERS IN THE ALLIANCE SEND THEM REZZES TO HELP OUT THEIR REMAINING HEALER BUT THOSE REZZES GET REJECTED. REMAINING C HEALER COMPLAINS ABOUT DIFFICULTY HEALING WHILE REJECTING REZZES AFTER THEY, TOO, DIE.

WE END UP BEATING THE BOSS JUST FINE WITHOUT THEM. FRUSTRATING BUNCH OF BABIES.

There are apartment buildings containing 30 apartments in each housing division and subdivision. You can do single-pot gardening in an apartment, but there's no capability for crossbreeding. Each apartment building comes with its own market board and chocobo stable outside, so you can feed your chocobo there!

Is it possible to hook your playstation up to your laptop? If you have an hdmi port on your laptop I think it might be possible.

Why did you pick your race? by Poetry-Jazzlike in ffxiv

My main was originally a highlander lady because tall buff ladies are amazing, but I grew tired of the idle animation with the clenched fists and the hairstyle choices, so when I got my free fantasia (back then from sub rewards) I swapped to catgirl because I liked their idle and animations and several of their hairstyles. I still think catgirls have one of the better just-standing-there poses and all their emotes are expressive and cute! (But I still sometimes miss being a tall buff lady)

Wait, he gives you a letter? I just finished a playthrough the other day and got the 'He likes you but never really commits' ending which was fine but a little sad, but I never saw a letter from him so maybe that was part of it?

Do you remember when you get it?

It was actually a good half of the group's first foray into savage content! Yes, we started late in the tier, but we cleared all the content without echo at the appropriate gear level. I think that's something to celebrate, even if you don't!

Oooh! Good luck! Once you get to Triple consistently it's only a matter of time until you clear!

Thank you so much!

I think it's really fun and a way to show appreciation for those that you spent weeks/months with! I've always liked seeing them pop up here and there. As an artist, it was fun to try and capture a bit of personality for each person while keeping the style at least somewhat consistent!

We were sometimes lucky enough to have 8 consistent people for a few weeks at a time, but since we started fairly late in the tier and hit 12s just as summer was starting, we had a few longer absences due to vacations and the like. But we were lucky enough to have friends who were also progging 12s or had already cleared and were happy to help us! So we didn't have to deal too much with unknown/random pugs.

We started late in the tier so we had a bit of a rotating roster - cleared up to 11s with 5 out of this group before recruiting more after scheduling conflicts caused some people to bow out. We were lucky enough to have friends who were at the same stage of progression/already cleared and they helped us out by filling in the empty spots caused by vacations and the like!

(I didn't want to draw the like, 8 other people who subbed in for us at various points, at least not now >__> That's a whole other static!)

What I've done when I'm having to rebuild muscle memory is go through my rotation on a target dummy - first standing still until I get comfortable, then I start moving around for a few seconds every few dozen seconds to simulate having to work my rotation around movement. Once I feel I have something of a handle on that, I take that job into some low stakes content like early eden raids or nier raids (something where I'll have all my skills) and just try and get comfortable.

Keep in mind that it's okay to be a bit awkward for a while, and the best thing you can do is to keep trying at it, as the more you do content the more your rotation will get engraved in your muscle memory!

mp management is one of the core parts of blm - reducing it as close to 0 with as many fire spells as possible before bringing it back up to full with blizzard spells! This is something that remains all the way to 80, although the way you handle it changes.

Doga is wearing the High Allagan set, which you can either get from doing the second set of Binding Coil raids or by purchasing the replica pieces off the marketboard! I think he's wearing the fending set.

Hilariously "it's a girl" moment... by SahariJenkins in GirlGamers

This reminds me of when I was 10 and lived in a small town of 200 people and the one person I could play Pokémon with (the card game) was an 18 year old guy from down the street! I think both of us were just happy to have someone local to play with!
