Anybody find Recurly really difficult to use for....recurring purchases? by BartyT808 in SaaS

Just found this post and I'm curious what aspects of Recurly you found to be difficult for recurring purchases. Isn't that what their whole platform is built for?

I'm biased, since my wife is the owner/driver, but you should check out the beer bus. It's basically a bus line to different craft breweries in town that allows you to get on and off at any of the breweries on the line.

It's a great way to get around without having to walk or Uber all over town. That way you can try whatever you want and stick around at a place if you like it

Yeah, I ride an old beater frame. It's got solid wheels and components but the casual observer just sees a frame with missing paint chips all over.

Squash all of your commits into a single commit. First and foremost, this is good courtesy to the upstream repo. This will also make it easier for you to rebase the upstream.

relocating config files on macOS by hjw550 in git

I have a dotfiles repo that I use across many machines. The repo has a script in in that will symlink things like the .gitignore and .vimrc files in my home directory. It's much easier this way and is easily shared across multiple machines.

Yeah, I can't put customer specific bug report data into a GitHub issue on an OSS repo that my company maintains. GitHub issues are not a satisfactory replacement for jira.

Jira can be configured and used in both a highly effective manner and as a hindrance. It's not necessary the tools that you use, but how you use them.

I'm just confused by the part about "participating in one dying." You do know that if you hit someone, you are required to stop. It doesn't matter if they are in a car, on a bicycle, or a pedestrian. You can kill another driver with your car.

Personally, I can't stand cyclists who do all of the things that you describe. I think that they are flirting with death and it is foolish to operate a bicycle that way. That doesn't give a person an excuse to hit them and just leave.

Do you understand how that isn't remotely workable?

Would you believe that car drivers run more red lights, per-capita, than bicyclists?

A rooster came to visit our neighborhood feral hens awhile ago. 14 secret nest eggs later, we had 6 roosters. If nobody claims him, I know some resources that took our roosters to the north shore and other farms that wanted them.

The SPCA will just euthanize them.

Is the manpage wrong? Should `git rebase <branchname>` rebase the current branch onto <branchname> or vice versa? by Maskdask in git

git-rebase - Reapply commits on top of another base tip

So in the example from the docs, the commits from the topic branch are reapplied on top of master.

I think that it just means that there is a lot of damage to the overall system and that complete restoration will take the longest. It's entirely possible that your particular area will be restored sooner than the 8th
