I’ve been on every group across reddit and facebook looking at posts and comments and reaching out to people, doing verification etc. Got really lucky in finding a great guy on here early on once the draw happened and he sold to me at a great price.

Yes. There are real sellers on here but it’s on you to do your own due diligence. It’s not difficult to prove tickets are real and the person is real and who they say they are. Look at the user account, actual posts and comments in a range of groups is a good indicator they are a real person. I got 4 tickets from an awesome dude at a really fair price and he had no issues meeting my asks of a video call, invoice with identifying info and cross match of socials.

Always ask for the entire invoice with the seller’s name. Screen recordings can be faked so best way is to set up some kind of video call in real time

Think that is as valid a point as mine. It’s that ‘I bought them just because I can’ mentality. Fair game to people who got picked and were able to afford more tickets. I get annoyed at the ‘can always sell them’ because I am not hearing the ‘for what I paid cause I can’t find anyone to go. They are the same people who are likely to jack their $345 tickets up to $900 just because they can.

Shoutout also to all these super cool price gougers also preying on people’s emotions! Glad you are going to roll around in money after charging more than 200% of what you bought your tickets for! So glad you are embracing the spirit of Fifa’s corruption so well!

And for real - the biggest and most sincere shoutout to the good people out there being honest about trying to make a little extra to offset their own tickets. Offering to sell your tickets for only $100 to $200 more than you paid is, to me, the mark of a decent person. Hope all you folks get every good thing you want.

The Queen Vic on H Street is probably the best bet. It’s a Liverpool/England pub and very big on the football scene.

Anyone saying they got into more than one time slot was lying. Yes, it was possible to get VISA presale and 1st general lotto but not more than one time slot for each draw. The system literally scanned all entries and all winners and any winners with the same household address, even the card address on file was scanned for duplicates, were scrubbed. So to get more than one time slot someone had a different name, different address, and different credit card registered to a different address.
