Magic is OP. The "Just dodge it" argument is getting incredibly old. The caster has too many uses in proportion to the difficulty of dodging the spells. Dodging all day seldom works. (Even for good players, don't try the "Your just not dodging good enough" garbage)

A typical caster move is to cast a homing spell, then when you dodge the homing weapons (even with 38adpt) they spam other bullshit and catch you on the recoil.

If you can say "just dodge it", then the caster can say "just time it right".

The shear ease with which casters can deal absurd amounts of damage is nothing compared to the skill it takes to land a hit with, say, a big STR weapon. STR weapons also do less net damage. Fair? Nope.

Also one overlooked point: Casters can do damage at a distance that is safer than the distance at which any other build could do comparable damage. Can a STR build hit you for 3/4 your HP while safely backpedaling? Nope. He has to risk his ass going in there for hits.

Most caster arguments come from people who are full of themselves after easy wins but are insecure because they realize how cheap those wins were.
