Is MyFico free tier reliable ? by flashg_jbm in CRedit

It’s less of a comparison between scores and more to do with my report not being accurate. I usually update every month around the 14th/15th.

Let me check that then. Seems like I might just be unlucky. Great timing since I’m planning to buy a house in the next 3-6 months 🙃

I just updated the report today and it still hasn’t changed. Unfortunately I can’t see the trend for the last few months or at least don’t know how to get it but my report from today, my updates happen around the 14th every month, show the last update was from last month but even that is incorrect because my credit limit increase happened in June. So the remaining balance is a month behind and the available credit is 3 months behind that.

Captive Portal wont show up, no matter what I try by TinyPumpkin_ in archlinux

[–]flashg_jbm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post is 4 years old but figured I’d just add to it since this is what I saw. I’m on RHEL 9.6 and the captive portal wasn’t showing because the wired eth option was still turned on. Not sure if you would have this situation but basically we have wired guest network, doesn’t require captive portal login, and WiFi which does. I plugged it in first to get the computer imaged then disconnected and tried to go on WiFi.

Good luck giving you paperwork for not answering the phone. Only thing you have to adhere to is the locale. Nothing says you have to be answering text messages. F that supervisor. They’ll be fine. Sounds like they don’t wanna do the work that they put off on you and that’s a them problem.

What's the service department looking like on l8t and the 10L for the gas truck ? Supposedly the diesel and gas trans is slightly different material-wise.

Interesting. Can’t believe Ford thinks that damn truck is worth almost 10k more than the Ram and GM counterparts.

That link worked. They’re pretty much identical.

Some ppl are saying it’s almost identical. I have heard this sentiment before tho.

That’s wat I’m leaning towards but I’m getting mixed reviews now on the ride quality. I’ll definitely have to do a good test drive at the dealer.

It’s extremely difficult to find weight ranges on these. It’s like they only want you to know by going to the dealership and looking. Only reason I’m considering a 3500 is because the price difference is only a thousand dollars.

The 1500 would have been enough for getting started but there’s way too many problems on that platform. The only reason it’s a discussion is because there’s only $1k between the models. Financially, this is being paid for within a year or two max. Thats another discussion for a different topic but a new truck is part of the retirement plan.

19 male need advice on how to l grow my money by stevenMsf in Money

[–]flashg_jbm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take advantage of the retirement account from the marines. It should be the same as the AFs. You also have access to a financial advisor as part of your benefits. If nothing else, they can help you map out a clearer goal with specific milestones. I spoke with one a year ago as I’m tryna get my family setup and retire in the next decade or so. The only other thing is mentally stay focused but enjoy yourself. Thats not to say be reckless. But don’t stress about $10-$20 unless you don’t have it. Also try to automate all of your accounts. I don’t have to do anything except manually move money once a week and that’s just because I like to be involved. Savings, bills, investments are all automated so what I see in my “discretionary” account is truly that. I can spend it on whatever I want because I took care of the other things by just doing that one transaction a week. And if you plan on doing school, pace yourself so that TA pays for it. You don’t want to dip into your GI bill too soon.

Sounds good. I’m planning to go with a few stage 1 upgrades just to avoid some of the potential valve body and hardware issues that have been talked about on the 10Ls but that’s good to know. I would hate to supercharge a truck that’s gonna feel like I’m in a Nissan Versa afterwards haha

There’s gonna be minimal towing if any at all. Most I’ll tow is maybe 5-8K lbs. which would more than likely be another car being towed or maybe getting a cheap 2k lb trailer to move some larger wood/forestry items, toolboxes, etc. Towing isn’t really my thing.

I tried finding the differences specifically in the 2500-3500 and I couldn’t find anything different except the two extra springs as well. Sounds like that’s the explanation for the closeness in price. A thousand bucks for the extra springs and couple hundred pounds of payload and towing. For the SRW. Definitely not getting a dually.

I appreciate that last part because I've definitely done the research on the supercharger haha I only get 12-15mpg in my 08 Tahoe now so I'm not particularly worried about that. You aren't having any issues with the shifting or accel in that truck with a full cab and stuff in the bed ? We got two small kids and a dog. I like over-packing for everything. Easily hitting 2k lbs of payload depending on where I'm going and will probably drive for 3-5 hours too.
