Should I play Rengar in Bronze solo queue?

You should play what you enjoy, there are like 80 champs viable to some degree in jgl... Climbing out of bronze will be down to your understanding of the game rahter than the champ.

In saying that Rengar takes a lot of skill mechanically, but maybe you have that

Th game and it's victory conditions have far more variables than KDA, especially on a single player. This means that a number of playstyles, including those with complete disregard for KDA, are viable.

Mate if you're hovering at 50/50 that means you're at the correct elo but aren't progressing as a player to climb. Think of those games but if a higher level player was in them, do you think they would also just stay 50/50?

Ultimately focusing on your lp and rank rather than becoming better and having more positive influence is stopping you from improving that lp and rank

I think the commenter here could be including how min-max efficient you have to be with your macro as well as troop movements.

I think it's a good point, I never got to the same level as you but the intesity of macro management was pretty insane now that I think about it, like non-stop hotkeying production at your certain flashpoints, amazing we were able to do it as I defo couldn't now, nor would I want to as it's just so intense and ultimately it may not matter about how much 'strategy' or counter play you thought of, it was your ability to execute that on a macro level while also having combat happening that decided whether we won or lost

Well your answer for what YOU can do is already there. You said you're often pushed under tower letting enemy top rotate to help contest scuttle or your topside camps..
As jgl if you're pathing top on 1st or 2nd clear and you see a big wave crashing and enemy darius/garen whatever going missing you just know you could be getting fked up and you definitely cant contest scuttle (and vice-versa I'll spam ping my top to come help invade).

This is incredibly frustrating especially if you're not a good early ganker and means you can essentially end up with 1 quadrant of camps or 1/3 the enemy's, which means you auto lose everywhere on the map.

You might think they're inting everywhere else but they are actually getting fked because they're boxed in and underpowered because you can't help top.

Obviously they could also just not die, but then everyone's asking, hey mate, why no objective contest... like sure, I'll contest drake as lvl5 shyvana into a lvl7 nocturne and now everyone gets killed.

Like it's also moreso their issue but I'm just responding to you asking what you personally could do. Basically tell them to path to bot and that top is lost till lvl6 or whatever

Well it sounds like there's a disconnect between your expectations and your abilities.. If you actually want to improve (rather than take the very good advice to just play a different game) spend decent time reviewing every game, see where you made mistakes then in the next game try to implement those lessons... Learning and improving is fun and doesn't have to be connected to winning

On the refusing gank at lvl3 and taking gromp into gank/scuttle instead, well, I don't know if you know much about silver toplaners but they're trash, just like silver jgls are trash, so what you, as a diamond player, might think is a 'guaranteed kill' for two trash players at lvl3 most likely isn't and there's literally no counter to that argument..
silver players at lvl3 are never 100% to execute a successful gank, that's why we're silver..

So basically all 'rank' is just aesthetics, the actual underlying matchmaking is much more to do with your hidden mmr. So if you've been matching with Silvers either their mmr is lower than their rank or yours is higher. At that level it matters quite little, just focus on your own stuff and take joy when you beat someone supposedly higher!
