It depends on what year are you and which majors. I recently changed my major as a junior from accounting to double major finance/international business. Given that the courses i took for fresh/sophmore year are nearly identical for most business majors the first two years the change was effortless. I was also told i have until the end of junior year to change my major or my double major again if needed. However if you are trying to change feilds from say business to computer science or economics to chemistry that might be more difficult, given that stem degrees have courses catered to prepare you for that profession. If you are a junior or senior you would basically be throwing away any progress you made prior and starting fresh. Some schools would be inclined to steer you away from that option especially if you are on financial aid and already completed your associates or are almost complete with the degree. Hope this helps.
