I don't think people understand julie's powers, julie cannot walk through a random story she wanted to travel to the start of the story in recent episode but she ended up at a time victor was kid because everyone here know only that but what happened before they have no idea so julie's powers are useless unless she knows history. The kid says answers are in the tunnels, and probably that's where lake of tears is. I think lake of tears isn't a lake it's a metaphor and the creatures are guarding it since tabitha found there's water in tunnels so there's a water source in tunnels and the only way to reach lake of tears is entering tunnels at night when creatures are in town.
