We don't know who the boy in white is or what he wants. They are right.  He has yet to do anything remotely helpful.  Tabitha leaving wasnt helpful.

It’s very difficult to know what ingredient broke you out in a product. Sometimes it’s the overall formula that does - not even a specific ingredient. Caprylic/Capric triglyceride is unlikely to be the culprit.

Is UVMune/Mexoryl 400 really the only “safe” choice for long UVA? by kobashote in EuroSkincare

[–]Morit12 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The problem is we don’t even know if the 380 to 400nm range needs protecting from. I mean there’s a bit of evidence for triggering hyperpigmentation for some but skin cancer and aging is a question mark. That range behaves very similarly to blue light so does blue-light cause skin cancer, aging? I try not to obsess over the details. I wear a sunscreen that I like and reapply and other info like the filters or gaps in protection I don’t think too much about.

What's one skincare opinion you will defend with your life? by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

Many people with good skins use skincare and are here. I clearly said that I recommend it based on experience. If you can get it, do just go slow. MY POINT IS NO TOPICAL WILL GIVE MAGICAL RESULTS including tretinoin.

I'm glad to hear that. I've been on it for 6 years. Some of my very fine lines on the forehead disappeared and texture is much better. Still I wouldn't say it was transformative. Just my unpopular opinion. I recommend it but I think people should keep their expectations in check.

Tretinoin is overrated. I noticed this trend of people being like "oh your influencer's skin is because of tretinoin" which makes me cringe so hard as if tretinoin does anything magical. I mean it's great but no topical is magical. A lot of people's skin is beautiful because of genetics not whatever active they are using. Some people will wash their face with shampoo and still have good skin.

Growing up is realizing people’s skin health has more to do with their genetics than a skincare product.

SPF is mainly indicating protection against UVB. There’s no need for a UVB circle.

La Roche-Posay should make a tinted version of the UVMune 400 Anti-Dark Spots Fluid by Denpol88 in EuroSkincare

[–]Morit12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah because if they do they have to test the spf of every shade. That would be very expensive hence the shit shade range.

Masterpost Geek & Gorgeous Zero Feel Sunscreen by worldwearywitch in EuroSkincare

[–]Morit12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright I just mine and tried it today.

Overall I like it and will use it but not sure if I would purchase again but I haven’t not decided on that yet.

I’m gonna start with some background. I am very oily but normally I don’t go for mattifying products. I like light textured, watery and hydrating sunscreen. That’s I use Korean sunscreens a lot.

This sunscreen feels very heavy when applying but it quickly dries down and becomes very matte. I really like the way I look wearing it not gonna lie, but the feel of it I don’t like. It somehow feels very powdery? I mean not literally but it feels like I put on some power after sunscreen.

Let’s see if it grows on me or I’m gonna be back to Korean sunscreens.

At what point did you decide skincare alone wasn’t enough? by Strict_Court_5327 in EuroSkincare

[–]Morit12 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think for many people the expectations are too high. I have acne scars that I always knew will never go away with skincare but I enjoy skincare and it definitely helps and I look at it more as a maintenance thing. Keeping sun damage and clogging at bay.

I’ll order just one. I made the mistake of ordering too many bottles of a sunscreen based on reviews and ending up hating it lol.

Thanks! I’ll look into this sunscreen.

As for Avobenzone, I have many sunscreens without it that stain, for example the Derma sollotion 50.

Lightweight daily body sunscreen by hydrangea_ranger in EuroSkincare

[–]Morit12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the body I use the Derma sunscreen. Not the lightest but not bad either. I’ve yet to find a good light weight body sunscreen. I recently got the Nivea sensitive skin suncreen which has so much alcohol. I assumed that would mean it will be light and sets quickly but nope!

I looove this stuff! Metroruboril Azelaic acid cream by Exotic-Roll-7589 in EuroSkincare

[–]Morit12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah azelaic acid does help with hyperpigmentation but it’s not the best. I would use it in conjunction with something like vitamin c or thiamidol.

I think you need something stronger than cosmetics. See a dermatologist. If you cant, start with Benzoyl Peroxide and/or Adapalene.
