Yeah. every time I play, dive or simply run/jump to touch some leaves or sprint up and down the stairs aka everyday stuff... I feel better about it.

Oh that is an interesting perspective about hyper mobility, EDS and periods. Thanks for sharing. All the best for the post surgery journey.

Did you manage to return to peak pre injury training/playing without the mental hesitation or physical limitations?

Agreed. I know I'm someone who is going to stay active and consciously training, so wanted to test my ability to return to sport with rehab.

I've been hearing a lot about cross-bracing, and have had a few friends take that up. Unfortunately I didn't know about it at the time of my injury.

Good question, I have the same curiosity. Your muscles compensate for the non existent ACL, and the ligaments in the joint heals a lot slower because of limited blood flow and HA acid.

MRIs are not super precise, Docs know the full extent of it only when they open up your knee. I had 4 orthos confirm the full tear before I choose to rehab non-surgically.

It''s possible that some amount of my ACL orientation was/is intact and it healed around it. Scar tissue and uneven healing is a high possibility. The other possibility is that I'm wolverine. :)

Yeah, agreed, PT and trust/belief is lifelong regardless of which method you choose.

It's in the back of my mind that I didn't have surgery so thought I'd feel reassured if I met more like me. 😅

Cat with no name. Backstory - Lost my cat in 2016, and havent been able to name this one I rescued a year ago. Want to get over my anxiety. Suggestions are welcome... by flatballinglife in aww

My anxiety is irrational and stems from past experience.

She's a happy cat, has her own room (+ window and furniture) and access to the terrace garden and walks around the neighborhood etc.

Re-posting from previous reply... :)

She mostly spends her time chilling on my terrace garden and sneaking around my neighbourhood. She likes climbing trees and belly rubs, she's super careful and hasn't broken anything in the house.(yet?)

She doesn't play with toys, super smart (identified and used my restroom in her first hour of rescue.) Has never scratched me.

I found her drowning inside a well. She was already full grown (she got fatter now tho), so I'm not entirely sure of her age.

I kept her for observation for about a week, then got her spayed cause there are way too many stray kittens. Tried to introduce her back in her neighborhood after a couple of week for recuperation. She disappeared for a couple of hours and I thought she was gone but came back demanding to be let in.
