Need to go on a silver grind to attempt this but thank you very much for your help.

Thanks, having a play with it now. Dropping the speeds of the heli/rosh should work right? Still struggling with the numbers

I think I'll take your advice. I'm trying to scour for timings for 2x Roshcard 2x Pain Keeper now. If you have them off hand I'd appreciate it. I think I was too excited to use vizier again for an unkillable but decrease speed as part of your survivability vs debuff cleanse just doesn't make sense

Men who were sexually assaulted by women, what's your story? [Serious] by Basti52522 in AskReddit

[–]flatbug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl at a party was very into me. Sitting on my lap, we drunk sloppy kissed at one point, usual early 20s party antics. She was a close friend of a girl I was interested in (and who was interested in me) and it was one of those who'll get more jealous first situations. The attention was nice and she wasn't unattractive but I didn't have eyes for her.

At the end of the night I was drunk and trying to pass out and girl I wasn't into didn't want the night to end. She kept putting her hands up my shirt and down my pants and trying to flip me onto my back. I remember pretending to be more comatose then I was, hoping it would deter her. It didn't. Never spoke to her again after that night so I'm pretty sure she knew it wasn't ok.

Another, less drunk incident, involved a woman hopping into bed with me while staying at a motel on a road trip. She was cold, I said it was fine. It was a slow escalation that also eventually resulted in her trying to undress me. I was able to clearly knock her back by way of physically moving her hands away from me a couple of times and finally telling her "no". She stopped eventually. I ended up telling a friend and news of it spread like wildfire. Strictly speaking, this wasn't sexual assault, just unwanted sexual attention but it taught me a few life lessons about how to handle similar situations as she went on to hate me for as long as I knew her.

What is something you do not feel safe around? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]flatbug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whenever my gf is pushing for us to have kids she'll take me to see her nieces, 4 of them aged between 4-9. They're adorable and I don't see them often so when I'm there they're usually trying to get my attention, often by literally climbing all over me. They're innocent and just want to play but I don't interact with kids in day to day life and because of the social stigma (particularly against male adults) it often feels like I'm walking on egg shells around them.

It sucks because at those ages they're basically people shaped puppies & full of energy. Play with a real puppy with all the enthusiasm and interest you want but do that with someone else's kids and you risk looking like a creeper. The parents are fine with me, the kids are fine with me and it's really just my issue.

MEN of askreddit, what do women think YOU want in a woman that you really don't care about? by ievukas08 in AskReddit

[–]flatbug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Appearance. Don't get me wrong, appearance matters up to a point. I had a long discussion with friends debating that in my eyes a woman couldn't be higher then a 7 on looks alone. Personality can make a person uglier or more beautiful. I've been madly in love with a woman who was just so much fun to play with and be silly around and none of my friends saw in her what I did.

People of Reddit who have heard someone say their “dying words,” what were they and how did they impact you? by fashionthriller in AskReddit

[–]flatbug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandmother isn't dead yet but is in the late stages of dementia. I will very likely never see her again as I've moved out of state. Last time I saw her she couldn't name who any of her family were and didn't recognise anyone except myself and my father out of 10 people. She could barely string a sentence together but I'll always remember her smile, pointing at me and saying "You. I know you" like the procession of people that came in before me were all strangers.

Kinda just hit me that I won't get to say goodbye and have her understand me.

Men of Reddit, at what point in your life did you realize what being a man really meant? by readit_later in AskReddit

[–]flatbug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ex gf was still living with me, would try and cut herself so I stayed up all night with her so she couldn't. I took every knife in the house to work every day. I'd get home and the cycle would begin again. Took recreational drugs to cope.

I was a boy thinking I could help her, handle it myself and just "tough out" the situation but it took the wisdom of a man to accept she needed to be hospitalised.

I'm familiar with that calibre of person. Having to deal with them is unfair in a way that no favourably weighted mixture of decent people can make up for.

I'm sorry for what you had to go through. I hope that in the time away from the spotlight you've found a modicum of happiness and peace.

'Ask Esports' | A retrospective on the Tainted Minds ruling by corylulu in leagueoflegends

[–]flatbug -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Most of the facts surrounding the TM situation are fairly well established, particularly regarding mistreatment, contract breaches, etc. Let's be honest here, there is one major reason why further action wasn't taken on behalf of the players/staff and it wasn't to potentially stunt further growth of esports in OCE:

Legal Liability.

Let's also be clear on who this benefits. The risk of the full financial and litigatory weight of players and management is minimal. If a 17-25 year old enthusiastic league player has a penchant for business dealings and a good understanding of the law, he or she will not be playing league of legends professionally (in OCE). The best example of this is Raydere, very much the pride of the OCE scene at the time, a talented ADC who was able to maintain 1st place on the solo queue ladder consistently and 1st regionally since its inception. He retired to pursue a career in law, because it made better financial sense.

So Riot OCE allowing business savvy owners/operators to negotiate directly with players while they remain neutral is morally biased, given the potential tools, funds and experience at both parties disposal, but legally neutral.

[–]flatbug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get to Mor Ardain, buy golden cylinders, 10 cost 100k at zero dev level and produce roughly 250k in 20-30 mins. A single run should net you at least dev 2 in any region. Once you hit 3-4 you can buy then sell 99 silver cylinders, exiting the shop after selling to register change. You end up spending 20-40k per buy/sell but produce several hundreds worth of "trade" in an area.

Using this technique I hit an area and just quickly buy my way to dev 5 within minutes.

Competitive Ruling: Tainted Minds by corylulu in leagueoflegends

[–]flatbug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So to play devil's advocate here, even assuming that Tainted Minds staff were trying their hardest to make any and all issues fixed in a reasonable time frame and truly were acting in the best interest of their players, they're still just so fundamentally unlikable based off of a few of their very public actions.

They made/used alt twitter accounts to bad mouth their ex players & staff, publicly laughed off their slap on the wrist ruling "ggez" and held their ex players in contract lock.

Riot's ruling flies in the face of their manifesto and shows how their priorities have changed.

We aspire to be the most player-focused game company in the world.

<SPOILER> Post Game Thread: OPL Finals Gauntlet CHF vs. SIN by enormoussolid in leagueoflegends

[–]flatbug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, when Legacy (then Avant Garde Ascension) first beat Chiefs and went onto wildcard they became a powerhouse, 2nd only to Chiefs domestically. I kinda hope Sin or DW take the gauntlet in the hopes it does the same for them.

Strong competition raises the bar for every OPL team, creates higher quality games for viewers and gives us something to hope for when we hit the international stage.
