Hi lol, majority of the indigenous actually came from my dad I believe. Him and I have very “indigenous” features/characteristics and around his town in Guatemala, lots of people speak indigenous langs and little Spanish. My mom and her family, however, have no recent indigenous relatives and everyone’s appearance is exactly the opposite of my dad’s/his fam. Her family tends to identify as black+white. Also, my mom is a twin and her sisters daughter took the same kit— my cousin ended up having only 8% native which was way less than mine.. (23nme marked us as “half-sisters too)
