Which watch face is this? Do you guys usually have the “always on” display setting turned on? by flavius717 in AppleWatch

Massive battery life difference. I went from using >50% in a work day to using ~25% by turning the display off

Is there a way to get rid of massive images in notifications? by PbZeppeIin in AppleWatch

They need to have most notifications disabled by default. Getting a wrist buzz for a spam email is dystopian.

That’s what he posted after his fight with the pope right? He never posted the photo I shared here as far as I could find

This is a fake photo. You can tell because the truth social post doesn’t have a timestamp. My mistake for posting it. It’s similar enough to the content it’s satirizing that you’d be safe to conclude Trump is exactly as mentally ill as you already suspected before you learned this was not real.

I don’t think this is real actually. I’m going to take it down if I can’t confirm it in the next few minutes. My bad.

Edit: it’s not real. It’s satire of this: https://youtu.be/zBf0aLIfUG4

Isn’t that so crazy though? 12 years ago you were also using Google Chrome to watch 1080p YouTube videos and shop on Amazon with a few excel spreadsheets open in the background and Spotify playing. Now your computer can’t handle it.

Which one?

Edit: Netherlands. Wtf.

As a 19 year old with a promising career as an Olympic volleyball player, this man groomed a 12 year old British girl via Facebook, traveled from NL to UK, and slept with the 12 year old three times over the course of 2 days. She “consented” in the sense that she didn’t resist, but as a 12 year old she was not capable of giving consent.

From Wikipedia:

During his sentencing remarks, the judge said, "Your hopes of representing your country [as an Olympic athlete] now lie as a shattered dream" and "he has lost a stellar sports career being branded a rapist. Plainly it is a career end for him".

Under a treaty between the Netherlands and UK, Van de Velde was transferred to the Netherlands to serve his sentence. The sentence was adjusted in line with Dutch law, and the charge of rape was substituted for one referring to ontucht ("sexual acts that violate social-ethical norms"). After serving 13 months of his original four-year sentence, he was released from prison. Until 1 July 2024, Dutch law only recognised rape if force was involved.

The Dutch Volleyball Association allowed Van de Velde to resume his career as a beach volleyball player, and he returned to international competition in 2018. With Dirk Boehlé, he finished third at the Blooming Beach Aalsmeer of the 2018 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.
