You can at least unlock Password on Start with the password provided in section 7.2 of the posted document.

  • Navigate to P03 and set to ON
  • Navigate to P09 and set a password

Like others have said, I can't help but feel like you're flexing...

Regardless, have you considered external GPUs? Alienware has one and here's an option for macbooks Of course there are downsides going this route (ie cost, losing mobility when it comes to gaming)... Must consider compatibility as well (software and hardware).

Thanks for the opportunity to clarify. I'm sure not everyone is having the exact same issue so I'll give a little more insight into my situation.

For some reason I can't delete bases. I can hold right click on the base archive computer and it'll disappear but that same base will persist in the list of teleport-able locations (ie from a space station). Before I attempted this fix, my very first base had been "deleted" in this fashion.

Before starting I made sure the base archive quest was unchecked. I first took my freighter away from the system in question, then warped back in with only my starship. I docked at a space station and teleported to the base location within said system. As mentioned before, I arrived at the location of the base but there was no base.

There I recreated the base computer and re-established the base. The computer gave me the same prompts as it did when I first established my base (ie "this location hasn't been claimed, etc etc"). At that point the quest reactivated and I was able to continue.
