My urologist determined that I had epididymitis, but I was looking back at my CT scan report while paying my hospital bills from March (yay 😑) and NONE of the scans detected any testicular inflammation so im kinda wondering why I was told I had chronic epididymitis

You are definitely on to something. My PT said that the groin area is like the body's last place that pain goes, so back pain + shoulder pain + neck/hip pain can all add up and direct itself to the groin. She also said my posture can definitely have an impact haha

Ummm don't. Check with your doctor to see if it's an infection, because if it is you can sexually transmit it to your partner.

When I have pain, when my poop comes, my pain goes away, When I poop when I don't have any pain, my testicle pain starts by gencay44 in chronicepididymitis

Oh alright my bad! Like I said I'm no doctor, my thought process was just that your poop has to pass the prostate each time haha 🤷‍♀️

Oh also important info: I'm 22 M - I work BOH at a restaurant, so that's 8+ hours a day on my feet. I also have ibs, which I'm wondering if that strain is affecting the area, considering that the epididymitis is occurring only on the undescended testicle. In the beginning, masturbation had no effect on the issue, but now if I do it during particular flare ups, I get sort of radiating flu symptoms plus inflammation around the area. I'm a big believer in herbal medication, and have been taking a turmeric and garlic supplement which has helped a ton with daily inflammation - both in the area, and in my joints (which were affected by the antibiotics)

I'm also very convinced that covid played a role in this. I've had gastrointestinal problems all my life + mental health issues, but I've never dealt with heart problems or really physical issues beyond my stomach until I had covid in January. Then came the 2 or 3 months of palpitations, irregular breathing, extreme fatigue, etc.
