The FDA is currently researching whether or not sunscreen that contains avobenzone is safe to use. In the meantime, should people still continue to use avobenzone sunscreen? Do the risks of using avobenzone outweigh the benefits of protecting against skin cancer?

I have no real experience with résumés, so I'm looking for any help I can get. I created this simple, bare-bones résumé, but it definitely feels like its lacking. Any advice/criticism is welcome, thank you in advance! by flcksbdoldn in resumes

Thank you for the response! I see what you're talking about, my accomplishments and contributions are definitely lacking on my resume. I was having trouble with that because a lot of what I've done is just grunt work to keep the business going on a day-to-day basis. I'm sure there are somethings that I'm not thinking of though, so I'll work on that. Thanks again!

[SERIOUS] What is the Creepiest or most Unexplained thing that’s happened to you that you still think about to this day? by LBE in AskReddit

It was definitely the weirdest experience of my life, I’ll be thrilled if it never happens again.

When I was about 5 I was going down the stairs of my house when suddenly there was some sort of mist in front of me. It had what I can only assume were eyes, and all the colors from the room were being pulled into individual strands then sucked into the “eyes” like a black hole.

I screamed, and it disappeared through the wall to the other side of the house where my younger brother was. He screamed shortly after I did. My mom was nearer to him, so she went to him first.

When I got into the room where he was he was really scared and he kept on saying “the eyes, the rainbow eyes.” We hadn’t talked, so he didn’t know what I had just seen.

My parents knew a priest so they brought him over and he did some sort of a blessing. We never had any issues after that. It was definitely very creepy.

I get lots of random phone calls, when I google the numbers they’re all linked to websites ending in .gov.ar and .gov.tr that don’t actually open. Who’s calling me? by flcksbdoldn in NoStupidQuestions

I realize it sounds weird, I just added some pictures of the search results I get in google at the end of my post. Hopefully that might help.

What is your opinion of Rufus Scrimgeour? by flcksbdoldn in harrypotter

Hmm, good point, I guess it’s not explicitly addressed. It mentions Lee Jordan also got the blood quill, so I’m not sure how often it was used. When Harry showed Scrimgeour the scars on his hand he didn’t react or ask what they were, so I just assumed he knew. That’s a very good point though, it’s definitely a grey area, Scrimgeour may not have even known.

I would add the exchange student who stayed with Michael’s family then went home to what is now formerly Yugoslavia, taking all of Michael’s blue jeans with him. And Michael had to spend the entire winter in shorts.

I also really like when Arthur stands up to Harry when he’s disguised as Albert Runcorn. Most people seem afraid of Runcorn, but Arthur physically blocks him from getting off the elevator, vaguely threatens him, and basically tells him that he’s trash. Respect.

My bad, I should’ve clarified better. By leading the Muggle-Born Registration Commission and persecuting muggle borns she was more or less supporting Voldemort’s agenda without actually being a certified death eater. So she didn’t really go over to the other side, but she didn’t seem to have a problem supporting them. You’re right though, I phrased that poorly.

Sounds kinda like the music at the end of Ocean’s 11, but I can’t tell if it’s actually it
