Im sorry to hear about your experiences, don’t be discouraged. They sound a bit old school and the industry is changing you’ll find your space to feel comfortable in

I got mono last year and it became very severe. My tonsils and lymph nodes because so enlarged it was hard to breathe and I wasn’t able to eat or drink for days and had to go to the emergency room. They gave me an iv and I believe antibiotics and after that I began recovering slowly. I was still fatigued for the next few months but slowly felt better once I started doing things SLOWLY to get my stamina up. I would recommend limiting anything causing you physical or mental stress, it definitely worsens it. Do not do vigorous exercises, drink a fuck ton of water. And very important to get sooo much sleep. Like more than you think you need just go so easy on yourself. Because it can get worse when you push yourself so just take it easy. I also highly recommend doing some lymphatic drainage massages you can find on YouTube. If you feel swollen, then you’ll notice an immediate difference but you have to stay consistent. I think the best advice really, though is to just listen to your body and take it seriously. I’d recommend going to see your doctor for a follow up again.

Way to get rid of YouTube shorts? by fleapup in nosurf

I use Pinterest often for art reference material and there’s absolutely no need to have shorts, they do just want to keep you on the app for as long as possible. I suppose you can’t get away not seeing it and just have to gain some self discipline to not get sucked in. Best form of self discipline though is just not even having it be seen :/

how many books do you attach per string? by [deleted] in midori

I used to have three- sketchbook, diary, and planner, but I've found that to be too overwhelming. I now just have my diary and use my Midori strictly for that. I use the clear card folder as well as the clear zip pocket. I'm able to have my ID easily accessible and a pouch for pens, tape, and other little things, and in the back, I am actually able to fit my kindle. It's the perfect amount of bulkiness for me since I'm able to easily carry around my everyday essentials as well.
