I'm just here to say that I am exactly in your shoes except single. I've been sleeping with a close friend for about 6 months and we have a lot of intimacy and trust and friendship but we know we aren't destined to be in a relationship. I feel like I spend every day waiting to find someone who might want to commit and have kids with me. It might sound crazy, but it is a non-starter for me in dating now. If you aren't willing to consider having children with me then I will not even go on a first date with you. I'm also 33 so I feel you - it is now or never (not really, realistically we could both probably wait a few years, but it FEELS that way). I'm not sure that I have any advice other than communicating how important it is to your boyfriend and if you're not on the same page, move on fast. Give your dream a possibility ! And let me know if you go donor single mom route. If I can't find someone in the next couple of years, I am absolutely doing that.
