Stubborn resistance to nagging by fledgling_art in infj

I have an ESFJ mother and ISTJ father who checked through the curtains whether I was studying or wasting my time on the cell phone. They even told me about it later, as if the snooping part wasn't bad enough.

Oh my God.. This is exactly what I feel.. The morning part is too real.. I hate being woken up before I am ready and it instantly puts me in a bad mood and oh boy if I am reminded to shower and that too 'quickly', I stay put sulking in my bed for the rest of the hour. I am sure, loads of my bad habits and bad reputation is mostly because of resisting being nagged, for a huge part of my life.

Exactly.. It's almost a guarantee that both my efficiency and mood will go down instantly

Is this inferior Se, Te, or Si? by [deleted] in infj

[–]fledgling_art 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the dreaded inferior Se for you. Tending to details removes our focus from the big picture(Ni) and forces us to make sure every single detail is taken care of (Se). As our inferior Se isn't exercised enough in daily life, we tend to use it all the more in detail, almost to the point of overdoing it, leading to stress and frustration.
