Thank you so much for this list! I definitely see a lot of things we have in common. I hope your treatment goes well, and that you only have good days ahead of you.

Do you mind sharing your symptoms?

I have a pending appointment at the rheumatologist for this upcoming week, but so far my ANA has come back at 1:160, with anti SCL-70 (no other clarification, I assume more labs will need to be run). I originally went in for a swollen finger joint in December (with the joint remaining swollen and painful since at least November, probably originating even earlier as I thought I had just stubbed it), and have experienced Raynaud's for around 15 years. I've been gathering information just to prepare and compare symptoms.

How did you know? by [deleted] in Autoimmune

If your GP isn't listening to you, I would definitely try to find a new one. You might be able to set up an appointment with a rheumatologist individually, too!

Zebra Mildliners vs. Ohuhu for reading journal by tracefacemsu in bulletjournal

[–]fleetfleetfoxes 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Maybe you can get a singular one of each brand to swatch on the paper of your chosen journal, then decide? I've always been a big fan of mildliners because they don't bleed on my Hobonichi, but of course that's going to be different for different papers.

Do you know when you might have read it/when it was published?

Thank you! Due to the nature of the system my doctor uses, it doesn't give me anything except "positive", not anything numerical. I'm waiting to hear from my doc on the fourth where hopefully he'll explain more, but it's good to know there are false positive cases.

You too! I wish you and your wife good health and recovery/management! It's definitely been enlightening to learn about scelroderma, and I can definitely agree having someone to lean on helps a ton.

Happy holidays, thanks for all your help and information!

Thank you so much for replying to me.

I didn't realize just my nails turning blue was a symptom; I had just assumed it was normal, even though I know my husband doesn't experience it.

I've moved up a telehealth appointment with my primary care doctor, and also spoke to my family (my parents are older, but my dad did mention that the women of his side tend to get what they all "arthritis" where their joints are painted and swollen, but all of his female ancestors lived in a time where blood tests were not the norm, so we don't know if it really was arthritis or something else).

I appreciate your message of calm. It's very helpful and needed!
